The Great Highway was absolutely necessary for me to get my father to the VA Hospital twice per week @JoelEngardio — listen to the people who live there and say “it’s pretty empty” even when closed on the weekends. I’m fine with weekends, but not weekdays.

@CommonSenseiSF @LondonBreed Given the new DA, you would think the tough on crime people would be happy that crime is down. If crime is down you can argue the new DA is helping. That argument is harder to make if crime is up.

It’s politically the thing to do - why not have people who live across town and do not care if there is a road there vote bc they might want to visit the park 1 time in 5 years? @SFist Making it more difficult to have a car doesn't reduce the need for one. The City needs to first build an alternative infrastructure, THEN we can talk about taking away vital roadways. All this will do is force traffic onto neighboring streets making them less safe.

@SFist It’s not car lovers. It’s working families,commuters, public school kids and Veterans. There was 1 Trumper in the mix unfortunately. Residents are saying that @JoelEngardio lied and to get elected and they are angry. There is a beach, a bike lane a multi use path & park there.
