This evening, the president posted this, literally presenting himself as Jesus. He’s not doing anything to stave off the anti-Christ allegations. If any Democrat president did this, Evangelical Christians would implode. But will they speak out against this? I highly doubt it.

Hypothetical question for my Christian friends: If it were somehow conclusively proven the resurrection did not happen, would that change how you live your life? If so, how? (If your faith prohibits you from even contemplating this hypothetical, no worries, please ignore 🙏)

Equal Pay Day marks how much more into the next year women must work on average to make what their male counterparts in the same job earned the previous year. Equal work should mean equal pay. Today is a reminder of the work still ahead to close the wage gap and expand economic opportunity for women across North Carolina.

@MattWalshBlog I hate these remakes. Even the ones done decently well (HTTYD was basically shot for shot) are nothing compared to the original. They are an easy cash grab at best or an attempt to de-colonize the originals at worst.

My kids do not prefer the “live action” remakes of any of these cartoons. They always prefer the original animated versions. The sad reality is that these slop remakes actually exist mostly to appeal to perpetually adolescent millennial adults who are obsessed with their “nostalgia” for the entertainment they grew up with. Of course the original Moana came out like 5 seconds ago so nobody really grew up with it. I really have no idea who this is for.

@TolkienWorldG It could have been fantastic with only two changes: use costumes for villains instead of CG, no love triangle story. And a third might be to give Thorin a death that wasn’t obviously avoidable. I still enjoy it but those are major hangups for me
