so far had close to ZERO conversations with folks that are anti AI. The convo usually starts with someone attacking, I reply explaining my point of view, then either no responce, or more attacks, or I get blocked (hi Kenney : )

@andreintg @nulshift You did get a response by a person who was really civil (me) when you were passive aggressively denigrating Kenney and at the same time saying AI haters don't discuss. GenAI is NFTs, peddled by the same techbros. Burning the planet for the promise of firing creatives.

@ISASaxonists But this kind of thing is the very thing westerners deem uncivilised. Greece being at the crossroads of east and west, gives great insight into that. These kinds of genius practical solutions are common in villages here too, and ridiculed by westernised Greeks as "third world"

My favourite thing so far after a week of feedback is that the thing most people are commenting on is my unusual gameplay. I know people think of me as an art man, but I have a lot of fun and strange ideas about interactivity and I love seeing people respond to them.

Folks have been testing the first chapter of Gilt this week. Lots of really great feedback. I added a couple of scenes, too. Here’s one I painted on Wednesday. I’m so happy to see people really connecting with the project and enjoying my strange ideas.
