@JasminLaine Went to Panama in 2021 because it was more lax, but that was before the country protested. The government there separated men and women 😆 to prevent them from copulating. There were women days & men days. 1 hour each. Youd be arrested if you were out on the wrong day.

What was the dumbest “prevent the spread” Covid-19 policy where you’re from? I’ll go first ⬇️: They banned the purchase of “non-essential items”. And since all the officials in charge were men in my city, for over a month (until enough women complained) when you’d go to a physical store, they had actual caution tape over the makeup section, hair care (outside of shampoo and conditioner), jewelry, and accessories… if you grabbed something anyway, the cashiers would refuse to scan it. 😂 It felt like a fever dream. What’s yours?

@MisterAlberta Born in Ontario but only lived there for the first year of my life (barley). Lived in Alberta for most of my life. Raised in Taber, Barnwell, Nobleford, Pincher Creek and Magrath most of my childhood, then Lethbridge and finally Calgary.

@GlobalCalgary This was already available. I know, because I paid for an MRI 5 years ago. BC also has private MRIs. A month ago I paid to see a dermatologist because the wait was 6 months. Glad I did because it turned out I had a pre cancerous lesion way younger than they normally see them.

@FlamesNews_com @GlobalCalgary Ps: you could pay for an MRI but I needed a referral which my family dr at the time didnt want to give me. She thought because of my age, I didnt need to be further tested. She was dead wrong.

@FlamesNews_com @GlobalCalgary Im so happy we finally have this. I thought like you until I was a victim of our current system. If it wasnt because I traveled to another country to PAY to get tested, I would have died.

@GlobalCalgary Finally! I paid to get tests in another country. I was dying & Canada had me on a 2 year wait. I was able to bring back my tests to prove I had something going on. Canada put me on a 1 year wait to confirm. Had to fight to bring it down to 4 months.

@ElGranCheerio LOL I find myself saying those lines but usually about arriving safely somewhere. Dios primero, llego mañana, or si Dios quiere, nos vemos el martes. It was more like, if God wants me to survive long enough to get there.

Canada's 2025 homicide rate saw its biggest decline in 40 years. Violent crime was down, non-violent crime was down. Crime severity index is down. The fabricated "Canada isn't safe" narrative is crumbling.

@mattvanswol We've had a few instances of "Christians" trying to kill LDS members. But yes. You are mostly correct.

Say what you want about Christianity... But one thing I've noticed is that zero Christians are out there running around screaming "Jesus is Lord" and then violently st*bbing, sh00ting, and m*rdering people. It seems to only be the“Allahu Akbar” people who are doing this.

@mattvanswol @HistoryBoutique We pulled our autistic daughter out of public school half way through grade 1 because of bullying. The school didnt help. They blamed her for the other kids behaviours and further segragated her making it worse. She is now 12 soon to be 13 and doing great as a homeschool kid.

Well, I have some news that's going to make some people uncomfortable... My wife and I are pulling our youngest out of North Carolina public schools and my wife will be homeschooling him. And no, we're not sorry about it. We didn't come to this decision lightly. We prayed on it, argued about it, ran the numbers, lost sleep over it. But every road led back to the same common theme: nobody on God's green earth loves that boy more than his mother and I do, and nobody is more responsible for who he becomes than us. Yet, rather ironically, despite believing this somewhere along the way, we handed that responsibility to strangers and... trusted them with it. His mind. His values. His time. His education. His TRUTH. ...and this past year, for the first time, we stopped and asked whether they'd earned that trust. We don't think they did. So we're taking it back. Yeah, we're scared. Scared we'll get something wrong. Scared of the workload. Nervous about what people will say. But I'll take the fear of us doing it ourselves over the quiet horror of watching our son be indoctrinated in utter BS woke nonsense and be laughed at for believing in God and mocked for liking President Trump (all of which occurred this year. So yeah, he's going to read the hard books. The ones they'd rather he didn't. He's going to learn history that hasn't been run through an anti-White woke filter. He's going to know exactly where he comes from and what he believes. Most importantly, he's going to grow up watching his mother choose him, to spend every day, all day with him, over what was easy. They had their shot. They blew it. We've got him from here. 🇺🇸

@RealShahriqKhan Jews hate Paul cause he converted. Mormons and Muslims hate Paul because he warned us about false prophets. 🤷🏻 It’s not hard to figure out. I just wish they’d be honest about it.

You know what Muslims, Mormons, and Jews say to me constantly? “You don't follow Jesus. You follow Paul.” Bro... you don't understand how Christianity works. You do NOT need Paul to believe Jesus is the Messiah. If Paul disappeared tomorrow, Christianity would still stand. Why? Because the Torah and the prophets already did the heavy lifting. Genesis: sin enters the world. Exodus and Leviticus: blood, atonement, and substitution. Passover: the spotless lamb. Isaiah: the suffering servant. Daniel: the Messiah. That's not Paul. That's Moses, David, Isaiah, Daniel, and the entire prophetic story. Paul didn't invent Jesus. Paul looked at the Scriptures and realized: This was ALWAYS about Him. And Paul wasn't some random guy making up theology. He was a Pharisee trained in the law. So when he preached, what did he quote? The Old Testament. Over. And over. And over. His argument was simple: If the Scriptures are true, Jesus Christ is unavoidable. So saying Christians follow Paul instead of Jesus is like saying you follow the referee instead of the rulebook. Paul isn't the point. He's pointing you to the point. Don't like Paul? Fine. Read Isaiah 53 without him. Read Psalm 22 without him. Read Daniel 9 without him. You'll still end up staring directly at Jesus. Christianity isn't built on Paul. It's built on the Messiah the Scriptures were already pointing to. And once I finally read Paul charitably... Bro. The man was an absolute SAVAGE for the faith. Follow this account for more Christian apologetics, Muslim evangelism, and the biblical truth that led me from Islam to Jesus.

My mormons, "You are not a member of an organization. You are a member of a people, and you forget the difference at your peril. An organization has employees and customers and a mission statement. A people has martyrs. A people has graves it can point to, ground soaked with its own blood, stories that begin with "your fathers" and mean it. The world will tell you that Mormonism is a religion you happen to hold, a set of beliefs you could set down tomorrow and remain exactly who you are. The world is lying. You cannot separate the faith from the people who bled for it, because they were never two things. The pioneer past is not the backstory of Mormonism. It is the body of it. Carthage is not history you learn. It is inheritance you carry. The handcart companies are not an episode in a manual. They are your dead, your line, your tribe, and the covenant that binds you to God binds you just as surely to them. This is the thing the modern Saint has forgotten, and the forgetting is a kind of orphaning. We speak of "the pioneers" as though they were someone else's ancestors, figures in a diorama, a heritage month. They are not someone else's. Whether your blood crossed the plains or your baptism grafted you into the vine last spring, they are yours now, fully yours, because that is what it means to be sealed into a covenant people: their story becomes your story, their martyrs become your martyrs, their dead become your dead. The convert from Manila and the seventh-generation rancher from Cache Valley stand in the same line, heirs of the same graves. Joseph and Hyrum did not die for an institution. They died for a people that did not fully exist yet, a people they could see only by faith, and you are that people. Their blood is in your spiritual veins. When you take the sacrament, you take it as one of them. When you enter the temple, you enter on ground their sacrifice purchased. You cannot claim the gospel and disown the tribe that carried it, because the gospel came to you inside that tribe, wrapped in its stories, paid for with its suffering, handed down grave by grave until it reached your hands. And a people who know they are a people cannot be broken the way scattered individuals can. This is why the world works so hard to convince you that your faith is private, personal, just one option in the marketplace of beliefs. A lone believer can be picked off, worn down, embarrassed out of his convictions one awkward conversation at a time. A member of a tribe with martyrs cannot, because he does not stand alone, and he knows it. He stands in a line that runs back through the valley and the plains and the frozen rivers to a jail in Illinois, and the line stands in him. So claim your people. Say "my martyrs" and mean it. Say "my dead" and feel the weight of it. Take your children to the graves of the pioneers and teach them that these are not strangers, these are ours, this is who we are and what we came from and what it cost. Because the day you understand that you belong to a people, the mockery of the world loses its power over you entirely. They are laughing at your tribe. And your tribe buried its children in the snow and kept walking, and outlasted every mob and every extermination order and every laughing generation since. You come from the unbreakable."

👁️‍🗨️ Toronto police have arrested a doctor from The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) on charges involving child sexual abuse and exploitation material. The Toronto Police Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began investigating in January after an electronic device was allegedly used to access and download such material. In February, investigators executed search warrants at SickKids hospital and a private residence in Toronto, seizing multiple electronic devices, including a work computer. On Tuesday, police arrested Dilan Dissanayake, 44, of Toronto. He faces charges of possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, as well as accessing it. The charges have not been tested in court. Dissanayake was scheduled to appear in court on July 21. Dissanayake has been placed on leave from his position at SickKids. Police stated that, at this time, investigators have found no evidence linking the material to his medical practice. Throw the book at him!!!

I hear people are making trailers for the Book of Mormon, so I figured I'd throw mine into the mix. It's a pivotal book and an anchor for my faith in Christ, so this has been a passion project. Details in the comments. I hope you enjoy!

This is the kind of immigrant story that actually makes Canada stronger. A guy who escaped Iran as a kid in 1989 just laid it out plain and simple. He came here and was blown away that parades were about Santa, balloons, and kids having fun — not tanks and missiles. He blended in. He didn’t get offended by pork on the BBQ or rainbow flags. He embraced it. Now he’s watching newcomers show up and try to bring the exact same poisonous crap they ran from — getting angry at Canadian traditions, shoving religion down everyone’s throat, refusing to participate in something as basic as handing out Halloween candy, and trying to change the rules instead of joining the country that welcomed them. His message is simple: Canada opens its arms. The least you can do is assimilate and mind your own business. If you’re not here to become Canadian, he’ll personally buy you the plane ticket home. This is the difference between real immigration that built this country and the current mess that’s fracturing it. One group wanted to join Canada. The other wants to turn Canada into the place they fled. We need more of the first kind. A lot less of the second. #cdnpoli #Immigration #Assimilation #CanadaFirst #LiberalFail
