Deeply grateful that I can afford to give up after 3 hrs of being stonewalled by the hospital & my insurance, and throw an extra $40 at a doctor visit that as far as I can tell I don't owe. Health care in this country is so broken.

Called @OptumRx @Optum_Support to fix mistake they made (changed my Rx to the wrong drug then rejected it) & got endlessly transferred & hung up on. In the end they put in yet another order for the wrong drug. What a customer journey! I guess I didn't need to breathe well anyway.

The fact that I can search for, find, and download a book from the @nypl onto my phone while waiting for the subway still utterly astounds me. Libraries are the best. 📚📲

Thinking a lot about information architecture today as I search for where to buy the lamp that apparently exists only in my mind

I find the way people throw around "use case" as a justification for everything annoying, since it usually just means "situation I dreamed up that justifies the thing I want to do"

@MarissaCgold as a former architect I have a distressingly large collection of technical pens, including a sadly neglected set of Rapidographs, probably all encrusted with dried ink 😢 but I never regret a pen purchase BUY THEM ALL is what I'm saying
