Except you miss five key points: First, Iran has a right to reasonably control non-Innocent passage through the strait. Second, as a coastal state, Iran can lawfully govern safety, environmental protection, and marine traffic in the Strait, particularly while the extraordinarily lawless activities of the aggressors are occurring there. Third, Iran can temporarily suspend innocent passage in the Strait during the ongoing aggression against it, as this is essential for its security.  Fourth, Iran can assert maritime law enforcement in the Strait, especially with regard to ships relating to the aggressor nations, to others complicit in the aggression, as well as those seeking transit to or from the Israeli regime perpetrating apartheid and genocide. And fifth and most importantly, international law is not a smorgasbord. You can’t assert significantly less important provisions on commercial navigation (fees) while supporting aggression and genocide(the most serious crimes). And you can’t condemn measures adopted in self-defense by the victim while defending the aggressors. Unless you are hopelessly corrupt or a soulless hypocrite, of course.

Unknown masked gunman shot dead former New Vision journalist Joe Nam at his home in Nabweru last night at around 1 am. The shooter fled the scene after the incident.

I've observed that kids, & even us adults, struggle to hold a conversation in our native languages, and when we do, it's often mixed with English, which many of us aren't fluent in either.

@kyobesarah @kasujja @UgandaMediaCent @kayira2000 @wachebs Absolutely, we must not let our native languages to die and the best way is to speak our native languages in our homes so that children can learn them early. Kids are capable of learning/speaking 12 different languages, but foundation of native language is most important.

We must speak the language of our neighbours… So, we are setting up Dawati La Kiswahili or The Kiswahili Desk at @UgandaMediaCent I can’t wait to work with luminaries like @kayira2000 and @wachebs to make it a reality..

What's language of the rich that we should speak?" Last I checked, per capital GDP in Kenya & Tanzania was higher than Uganda's. So these are poor Kiswahili speaking people in KE & TZ?
