@praeclarum Very cool. Random question - what framework are you using to train this? PyTorch? I'm finally starting to bang my head against ML stuff to see if I can fit it all in my brain.

I came up with a way to do real-time super resolution. Images are encoded to a 4 channel feature map, then I run a small MLP in the pixel shader. Results are fantastic and beat out bilinear. (Columns: original hires, bilinear upsampling, neural upsampling, neural texture)

@sethwillits @sumwarenz @flyingmeat Yea, this one was about 10 lines of code and I knew exactly how to do it before hand, and it made complete sense to do. Wish everything was like that.

@sumwarenz @ccgus @flyingmeat Speaking from the indie developer side of the fence, I can say that whole heartedly we love when that happens. Naturally not every request makes sense in the grand scheme, but it makes my day to make someone else's day!

I’m blown away. Feature request for Acorn image editor forms in my head, I email request to @flyingmeat. 23 minutes later I have that exact feature running on my computer. Always listens. Pragmatic. There is a lot to be said about working with indie developers!
