BREAKING: Trump plans cowardly “revenge” attack on the media at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and then to flee before they can hit back! According to sources, Donald Trump is preparing to use his speech at Saturday night’s dinner to lash out at news outlets he hates, especially those that have criticized his disastrous war with Iran and exposed his litany of scandals. But here’s the pathetic part: Trump is planning to deliver his attack and then immediately bolt from the room so he doesn’t have to sit through the rest of the event, including the presentation of press awards that would embarrass him (like the Wall Street Journal receiving a major honor for the Epstein birthday card story). He’s also skipping the entertainment portion entirely to avoid any chance of being roasted. This is classic thin-skinned Trump: he wants to dish out insults, but can’t handle even the mildest pushback. The man who loves calling the press “the enemy of the people” is too precious to stay in the room when it’s their night. Meanwhile, his team is even floating the idea of launching some major Iran-related announcement right after the dinner just to ruin the press corps’ night. The roast has been blamed for Trump’s absence from the dinner for his first term and last year, and even for his decision to give up his television career and run for the White House. Back in 2011, then-President Obama burned Trump by joking he put the “birther issue" to rest so he can get back to issues that matter like whether we faked the moon land, what happened at Roswell, and where are Biggie and Tupac? The whole thing is typical Trump, that is to say petty, vindictive, and cowardly. If the idea of a president throwing a temper tantrum at the media and then running away like a scared child disgusts you, like and share this post.
