Tax tip - meal deductions changed for 2023 vs 2022. 50% for meals with clients, travel for business, office snacks. 100% for holiday parties, meals with staff. Your accountant might categorize all at 50%. Come through meals and mark with are legit 100%.

@ClintFiore In deals with trucks, I would modify ebitda for monthly payments (p and I) of trucks - bc you’re always going to be replacing them.

POP QUIZ Two identical residential plumbing companies doing 3.5M revenue and 700K EBITDA, with 5 outfitted work trucks that cost 100K new each and get replaced every 10 years. Company A- all the trucks got replaced 2 years ago with new. Company B- haven’t bought a truck in 5 years. Average truck is 7 years old. What do you think these companies are worth? How much more would you pay for company A?

Took a day of clicking around and calling, only to find out that payroll has sunsetted in and, must upgrade to enterprise for 4K/yr
