Mike Johnson is actually making an argument that we should allow insider trading because his $170k/year salary is not enough to live off of. This is the same guy that said a $7.25/hr minimum wage was enough to live on.

If the US wants to “compete with China”, it doesn’t need one more data center. The US already has 5,381 data centers to China’s 449. The US needs social housing, nationalized health care, and modern infrastructure. That’s how China surpassed the US by investing in its people.

Right now, all I can determine - based on reports that, I admit, could be lies - is that we have our Navy sitting at the Straits of Hormuz, not letting Iran move their oil. Yes, we could be in Iranian waters or we could be sitting in Oman's waterways. But, other than that, what "war" is happening, other than gas price manipulation by Big Oil and those that control the stock market? Sounds like sanctions are taking place, but no real "war."

This is insane. No, it is not worth losing the midterms over. Wrap it up and move on.
