In addition to Christian theology driving the scientific method, Christian morals constrained science "for the good of man's estate", as Fred Catherwood explains: #demoralisation #science #christian #nzpol "We have only to contrast this worldview [assumptions that nature reflects an orderly, stable and rational God] with the rising pagan view of the natural world today, to realize how specifically Christian is the scientific method. The pagan has many gods, all of them fierce; and nature is hostile, disorderly, irrational, unstable, and malign - views reflected in today's art. Fringes of the 'Green' movement see nature itself as divine and untouchable. But the greatest danger to the advance of science is that it has lost its moral roots. The development of science is no longer "for the relief of man's estate". It can be used to kill as well as to cure, to dominate other countries and cultures as well as to support them. The "man in the white coat" has become a sinister figure. Science has been associated with the theory of "the survival of the fittest," the idea that was used in support of the two tyrannical ideologies of the twentieth century, communism and fascism. Christians need to place science once again in its divine framework, where it must be "for the relief of man's estate.". Not only is science in danger with the Christian ethic under attack, so are other Christian beliefs that powered the West to its present wealth." - Sir Fred Catherwood, UK MP, "The Creation of Wealth", Crossway 2002 @sonofmanwithus @rightlenz @cullenkehoe @nancyrpearcey @elliotikilei @kaiviti_cam @mkorero @stew_rach @rightmindsnz @bobmccoskrie @chantellebakerr @simeonbrownmp @SimonRAnderson @thebabylonbee @elonmusk @Not_the_Bee @calvinrobinson @Mintando @GoodOilNews @twikiriwhi @jonomacnz

Merry Christmas everyone. But more than that I hope you have a Blessed Christmas. And if you want to know what that means there’s probably not a better source than Linus. He explained it to Charlie Brown almost 60 years ago in a Christmas Special that has become an American favorite. In 1965 it was extremely daring to have Linus recite from the Bible on prime time television. It probably wouldn’t even happen today and the network executives did not want it as part of the show then. But Charles Schultz, the creator of Peanuts, was a strong Christian man and he wouldn’t back down. Schultz’s conviction resulted not only in Charlie Brown learning the true meaning of Christmas but in Luke Chapter 2 being heard by millions of people every year at Christmas time.

I will never forgive what Palestinians did to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Bethlehem was over 80% Christian under Israeli control until 1995. Today, under Palestinian rule, it’s below 10%. As soon as the city was transferred to the Palestinians, they completely changed the demographics by resettling thousands of Muslims, displacing Christians, and forever altering its fabric. The city where Jesus was born has been completely Islamized. It was all by design.

In 2022 I stood outside TVNZ with others, and we asked staff to come and speak with us to share truths. They ignored us. I eventually decided to find my voice my way. I don’t believe our msm will self-correct. Instead it will slide into oblivion.

The relegation of Helen Joyce to the black hole of silence during her more than two week visit to NZ is just the latest iteration of the legacy media's biased coverage of transgender issues.

Every time the Greens open their mouths, another investor quietly crosses New Zealand off the list. Why would anyone sink capital here when we have fruitloops who credibly could make up the next govt promising to ensure the cost of investment & business is not worth it.

🚩Family First Media Release 𝐁𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍 Family First NZ is applauding the government’s decision to end the use of GnRHa hormones (usually referred to as ‘puberty blockers’) for vulnerable young people who are confused about their biological sex. “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 – 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐮𝐞,” says Bob McCoskrie, CEO of Family First. This decision by the government is in line with many other countries who have either restricted or banned the experimental use of puberty blockers on children suffering gender dysphoria. This includes the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and many states within the USA. “With this decision, New Zealand is no longer an outlier when it comes to accepting scientific evidence and ensuring the protection of vulnerable children.” New Zealand’s own Ministry of Health in its Evidence Brief clearly indicated that the use of puberty blockers must be restricted for those under 18 years of age. This Brief sits alongside a growing literature of concern around puberty blockers, including the United Kingdom’s CASS Review. Family First has previously written to the Associate Minister of Health Matt Doocey requiring action following the findings of the Ministry of Health’s Evidence Brief. This call and previous calls sadly went unheeded. Family First welcomes therefore the Cabinet having stepped in and aligning policy with the medical literature. “𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇, 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐀, 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬.” ENDS Notes for Editors: Family First acknowledges that the government decision to end the use of GnRHa hormones is only for new patients presenting with gender dysphoria. Family First agrees that existing users need to be transitioned from Puberty Blockers in a medically appropriate way or at the very least, have the lack of quality evidence on safety, efficacy and reversibility explained to them by the medical professional overseeing their care – and their parents / caregivers – with a view to confirming they and their parents or guardians do provide informed consent. Family First rejects activists’ use of the suicide trope to argue children must be given experimental hormones (puberty blockers). There is absolutely no evidence that using puberty blockers reduces suicide in vulnerable young people. The CASS Review clearly stated: “Young people facing gender-related distress had no significantly different levels of suicide risk to other young people with similar levels of complex presentations” and “No evidence that gender-affirming treatment reduces suicide risk.” A recent Finnish study found that the suicide risk in a large group of adolescents was predicted by the psychiatric problems that often accompany gender distress, not by the gender distress itself. The Finnish study said: “Although the rate of suicide [in the Finnish study] is just over four times higher among trans young people than their peers, this is explained by their more serious psychiatric problems. When these psychiatric problems are taken into account, there is no evidence that transgender people have a higher rate of suicide.” We encourage editors to listen to the testimony of two New Zealand ‘detransitioners’ – Issy and Zara. These are two young woman whose experiences speak directly to why GnHRa hormones (puberty blockers) and other cross-sex hormones are harmful, as too the current approach to gender dysphoria via WPATH, PATHA, and other activist groups. Their testimonies can be found on our website – FamilyFirst.nz

Yo @grok, can you verify this? Because if this data is true it is absolutely national suicide. It means we purposefully imported a bunch of people from countries we share no common fundamental values with just to come here and vote for Democrats to destroy us.

The senior NZ judges have ‘sullied’ our law, not @winstonpeters . MSM ignorance or indifference (or managerial class loyalty) mean that the constitutional insolence of our Supreme Court is scarcely in public awareness here. Without enough informed participants to have an intelligent debate here, and the dire fate of established political parties in the UK as a context we should be grateful that @winstonpeters has the standing, the courage and the capacity to deliver his warning there. Parliamentary reassertion of constitutional orthodoxy is overdue in the UK and here. The judicial frustration of democratic will on Brexit and judicial sabotage of measures to stop the unlawful migrant inundation have humiliated successive UK elected leaders. It is usurpation of democracy by the managerial class. That has destroyed citizen trust that elected Labour or Conservative leaders will or can do what they undertake to do. The Conservative Justice spokesman (and @KemiBadenoch) and Reform are now vowing to end the judges’ power to claim supremacy for EU judicial theories and prejudices. The pendulum will over swing as judges are humbled. The NZ Supreme Court is inviting the same treatment. @NZNationalParty pusillanimity is sheltering the judges in this Parliament. National may pay the price paid by the Tories for being unable to govern effectively. The lawyer/planner members of NZ’s managerial class have sabotaged the Fast Track Act (in the feeble drafting as well as execution). That alone will justify the next Parliament cutting that class (which includes judges) out of resource management decisions. Because so many of our politicians are members of the managerial class (rather drawn to the idea that judges should usurp messy democracy) the Parliamentary resumption of authority here is likely to be irresolute. It will look feeble and add to political instability. But thank you @nzfirst for the kick-off in Oxford.

BREAKING: This morning in Rafah, Hamas broke the ceasefire, emerging from tunnels and opening fire on IDF troops clearing underground routes in the agreed ceasefire line. Maj. Yaniv Kola z”l and Sgt. Itay Ya’abetz z”l were killed. Even in a ceasefire, Hamas can’t stop killing.

I for one am not shocked that Hamas has already violated the ceasefire. You really just can’t trust any group or leader that practices Islam to keep their word since Islam calls for permissible lying to advance the cause of Islam. Hate to say it, but it’s true. It’s time for the GOP to wake up to this reality. Has anyone who works in our government read the HAMAS Covenant? This is what Palestinians believe. This is their ideology.

Stuff runs with ‘public executions after Trump leaves Hamas control Gaza’ as if Hamas wasn’t already running Gaza for 18 years. These aren’t some new invaders executing people. It’s the regime executing its own. Come on.

Stats NZ can’t run a census properly but wants to lecture the public on pronouns. Maybe focus on collecting accurate data before chasing virtue points. This isn’t what New Zealanders need from a public service agency. Time for a cull of social media roles in public service.
