@maxedapps Opus 5 has been a great experience so far. More balanced, better results in arrangement of file/functions and abstractions. It keeps the codebase tidy as you are building on existing features. Sol gets things done for sure but it is very messy.

I have not been tracking Helium prices since I left Blue but it was already very expensive and we have overall scarcity issue. This could be a good opportunity for companies like Interlune to shine and get more funding for their moonshot project.

Industrial gas major Air Liquide says the partial restart of helium production in Qatar is likely to reduce the impact of helium shortages on its business during the second half of 2026. gasworld.com/story/air-liqu… #gasworld #industrialgas

@burkeholland Datagrid on a web app is the hardest problem we tackled so far. Basically had to build our own package to address our own needs.

@pamelafox Didn’t get a chance yet. But what are your observations so far?

@thsottiaux I was up until 5am doing coding and this is when I started using Opus 5. Much better code quality!

We have reset usage limits for all Codex and ChatGPT Work users.
Last night around 2am to 4am we suffered an almost global outage. All well and recovered, but you know what comes next.
We learn. We reset. Enjoy.

Hey does this mean a reset?? A banked one too maybe?

We should be able to use any model based on capability and cost. AWS and others bring open weight models in a couple months after their release. We use AWS Bedrock to access them with the certainty that our data is protected by Amazon and doesn’t cross the border. It is not clear to me why people are making this a big deal. Chinese open weight models are popular among businesses for repetitive and systematic work in software similar to Gemma 4 from Google because they are cheaper but businesses access them thru AWS, Azure and GCP. This is the main use case for open weight models. The personal use is very limited anyway due to popularity of Chatgpt and Claude with cheap monthly consumer plans.

Ambitious project from Cursor team. I believe there are many others who are working on the same rewrite also. Not sure if this is really a good use of tokens and time. But definitely a good one to learn about the approach they used.
