Magic players are funny because they'll show you 12 different dragons and try to convince you they're as recognizable to the average Joe as Blue-Eyes or Charizard.
The point is outside of their game they aren't well known. Ofc every fandom can recognize 100 of their own dragons.

Shivan Dragon has been an iconic magic card since Alpha, with it's art being the face of MtG since then.

@direYGO Pokemon TCG is the best TCG imo, its not a complete shitshow like YGO and its not crossover slop like MTG. It also has an extremely low barrier for entry (if you buy singles, decks are extremely cheap compared to YGO or MTG). And TCG Live (while a janky client) is fully f2p
