The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

It is not just the specialists, the supply of care is also reduced by lower availability of complex medical equipment to perform tests. Are you sure it is medical care that is better or are the people in those countries generally healthier than we are? For decades our country allowed our food supply to be ruined by pesticides and additives, etc. And we have been hostage to big Pharma, and we are over medicated. We have done little to deal with obesity and poor fitness. We finally see some things being done to change this, but we are a long way away from the healthiest people in the world.

@TheodoreRoosev8 @nateski_s @FanOfObjTruth @grok @sdonahu2 @BarackObama Because it guaranteed millions more people would obtain coverage. Their profit margins didn’t grow. Often times they actually shrank, but more people paid for (or were subsidized) coverage which led to overall net profit increasing. More customers + increased prices = profit.

@sdonahu2 @TheodoreRoosev8 @nateski_s @FanOfObjTruth @grok @BarackObama The name is irrelevant. I’m sure it sounded catchy. By “added more bureaucracy” you mean it eliminated unethical and harmful practices designed to exploit our sick to generate profit. Yes that increases prices. National healthcare does not lead to performance issues.

@1Razer9 @unknowncitykid @NateBate606 @NewEraZach I would try to walk you through how empirical data and subjective positions not based on data aren’t the same thing and can’t be equally obtained from google searches, but I don’t think you have any sort of understanding of true logic so it would go right over your arrogant head.

@1Razer9 @unknowncitykid @NateBate606 @NewEraZach Things can be harder and not as valuable as something else. Packing mud pies all day is grueling labor, but nobody values it enough to pay you to do it. Being intelligent is easy. You just are. Yet people will pay you well to do the jobs only intelligent people can.

@1Razer9 @unknowncitykid @NateBate606 @NewEraZach I think I’ll stick to what actual NFL qbs have said, and not what google AI summarized from some 9 year old reddit comments. That’s pretty much all X is good for nowadays. This conversation demonstrates that.

@1Razer9 @unknowncitykid @NateBate606 @NewEraZach I’m going off of what I’ve heard professionals say. I’m not sure why you’re so confident in your own knowledge. You clearly aren’t any more experienced in the NFL than I am.

Will Fernando Mendoza start right out the gate or be eased in? @AdamSchefter this morning on the #Raiders' plans at QB: "The plan is not to rush him. That doesn't mean he won't wind up as the starting quarterback. We're six months from games. But in a perfect world... they'd like to have the backup QB ready for opening day. We've heard many teams say that, and the No. 1 overall pick comes in and they can't help themselves and they can't resist, and he starts on opening day. They can say whatever they want six months in advance, but in the interim, they're building their roster to set it up for... whenever Fernando Mendoza does start, whether that's Week 1, Week 8, or Week 16. They are getting the center, they're building up the defense, there's a lot of work to do... They went on a shopping spree that was unrivaled everywhere but Tennessee yesterday." Geno Smith will be released and unsigned veteran FA QBs include Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Jimmy Garoppolo.
