BRUTAL: Stephen A. Smith just told Democrats to “SHUT UP” and stop “bitching” about voter ID. “You should have a damn ID [to vote]. You need an ID for every damn thing else.” “And to the progressive left, shut the hell up!” “You got a mayor in New York City that required TWO IDs for you to shovel snow.” “You ain’t in no position to be bitching about how [Trump] wants IDs and the GOP wants IDs for votes. Shut up! Nobody wants to hear that.”

No. We are a Republic. States have accountability for everything that the Constitution did not specifically vest in the Federal Gov. If California wants help, they should ask for it and pay for it. The Federal government already does too much. Of course the Honduran drug gang members, who are here illegally, should be taken out by DHS. But someone else will step in unless California is serious about law & order and cleaning up San Francisco.

Bill O’Reilly just returned from filming a special in San Francisco — and what he’s seeing on the ground is WORSE than anyone realizes. He described a violent third-world, illegal alien–infested drug dystopia…and says the Democrats are FULLY covering it up. O’REILLY: “You know who sells a narcotics down there in San Francisco and in Oakland?” “Honduran drug gangs who are here illegally.” “You know, protects them? The sanctuary laws of San Francisco and California.” “They strut around armed to the teeth, okay, knowing that no one on the federal level can bother them, okay?” “Because the state and the city won’t cooperate as almost every state does with joint task force, California won’t do it.” “So Honduran drug gangs in this country illegally are fueling a MASSIVE fentanyl crisis that has destroyed the city of San Francisco.” “And the mayor knows it.” “And the governor knows it.” “And Pelosi knows it.” “And Kamala Harris knows it, and they NEVER did anything about it.” “How about that for a headline?” CUOMO: “Well, I think it’s a damning headline and that’s why San Francisco has been getting crushed and Newsom has such a big burden to try to make it as the Democratic nominee.” O’REILLY: “It was once the most beautiful city in the country. I used to love to go there.” “Now, little children watch drug addicts inject themselves with needles in their neck as they walked to school.” “Now, Hondurans here illegally cut off people’s hands with machetes if they don’t pay their drug debts.” “This isn’t about narcotics. This is about massive violence.” “Meanwhile, two miles away, Nancy Pelosi is living in an $8 million house guarded by security.” “So she doesn’t have to experience any of it.”

There is probably no doubt that our current system is less cost efficient than a single layer system would be. But changing systems will not address some of the systemic issues in the US that affect our health metrics. Unless we significantly lower obesity, illegal drug use & deaths/injuries from violence, changing systems will not show improvements and lower costs you appear to believe will happen. And, unless we are willing to ration care, our costs will be comparatively higher. We also have much more innovation and improvement in diagnosis and treatments. Most single payer systems are slow to adopt these due to cost increases. Are we willing to jettison these innovations? I think that it is not intellectually reasonable to say that a single payer system will give us better outcomes at a lower cost. The system is a notable part of the cost equation, but there are some other significant factors that must also be successfully addressed before our outcomes will significantly improve.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

Comparing is difficult, except for some things that really matter in leaders of any Century, like: leadership skills, integrity, work ethic, honesty, common sense, problem solving, complex thinking, courage, ability to learn quickly, negotiating, and others I’m sure that I didn’t think about. Of course times are different, but, there are personal capabilities and attributes that have always been meaningful.

When Markwayne Mullin was 20 his dad's health took a turn. He dropped out of college to run the family business. He built it from 6 people into a multimillion dollar HVAC company with 150+ employees. He's a pillar of his community, and @jimmykimmel can't even tell a funny joke.

Jimmy Kimmel: "Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was plumber. That's right. We have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now." The elitism of Hollywood summarized in one moment. 👇

I don’t necessarily think they should be ineligible, but we sure would be better off with many fewer lawyers in Congress. Our country has far too many lawyers per capita, we are in top 5 countries for lawyers, per 100,000 people, at 402. This is PRACTICING lawyers. So there are more who were once lawyers but don’t practice now. When on a volunteer board, in my experience, if you have more than 1 lawyer, meetings take longer and you get less done. Perhaps this is true in Congress🤔.

@MortChristenson @bdomenech @jimmykimmel I propose that people with law degrees should be INELIGIBLE to run for public office. Let people who DO THINGS _hire_ lawyers when we need them, and not be GOVERNED by lawyers.

Pretty disgusting and elitist. Perhaps Kimmel needs a refresher in what the House of Representatives was supposed to be made up of? "Merit of Every Description": James Madison intended the House to be open to citizens of varied backgrounds, without regard to wealth, poverty, or specific religious faith. Representative of the People: The House was designed to allow ordinary citizens, not just elite statesmen, to hold office and represent the interests of their constituents. I guess Kimmel would look down on this whole idea. x.com/bdomenech/stat…

Some seem to say wait time is not very important. Read, at the very least, the final paragraph in above. Wait time affects many people. Some die from having to wait others have worse outcomes. “Wait times” is a kinder name for rationing care. By starving the system of adequate amounts of medical professionals and equipment you have consequences that harm people. You also have an effect on businesses and the economy when people are absent or less productive for months. This seems to be one of the most important metrics.

I got a call from the White House after this hit on Jesse Waters’ Fox News show last night about the fraud in California. There is a reason Gavin Newsom looks so terrified right now. He should be. Buckle up. The fraud investigation is about to get insane. Starting this week…

@EricLDaugh @AmericaBeckyb Why aren’t these people who let him run free charged with a crime. If I’m a bartender and serve someone too much alcohol, I would be charged for letting a dangerous person on the streets. What is different?

🚨 BREAKING: Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) EVISCERATES his own party for ignoring the fact an illegal alien killed Chicago student Sheridan Gorman in JB Pritzker's Illinois "I guess they're afraid of the base!" "Only 7 or 8 Democrats voted for Laken Riley Act! Why can't you agree...DEPORT THEM! I just don't understand! It's a tragedy what happened to that young woman, it will CONTINUE happen...it's justice, just support this. Why is this unreasonable to anybody?!"
