And I struggle with IO in a conscious but unwell child, but also really don’t like waiting for babies to collapse

I’ve also had parents who have had a child with a scalp line before ask for it after 1 or 2 failed attempts

Paeds folk….have you ever used scalp veins for bloods? Used x2 recently from really tricky babies needing multiple bottles at once with no obvious veins / multiple other attempts. Any reason we don’t use more? Am I an outlier with this? @TessaRDavis @drdanmagnus @GilesHaythornt1
