@EmergMedCons Not claiming any of these options are good. I went with doubling up cubicles but doubling up in majors for example without increasing staff takes nurse to patient ratio to 1:12 or something ridiculous.Thats what I meant by false sense of security just becoz they're under ED roof.

@lordjaykay The wait at home is completely ill equipped with no staff and no escalation and no treatment. Happy to discuss but genuinely done believe we can claim the 1:1 paramedic care outside an ED ambulance wait offsets the no care in a prolonged wait at home risk

Appreciating that this is a difficult one and no option is ideal care Answering as a patient. If you/your relative were in significant pain/septic/having a possible heart attack/stroke/ head injury on blood thinners etc. would you rather have/be?
