@shivaaa_95 Same can be said for EVs. No car, seems as fun after driving BYD Seal, except M340i (& that's only because of driving dynamics.) Be6 is more fun anytime against any turbo petrols at that price & the driving dynamics of virtus GT don't offset the massive power difference vs be6

once you get used to turbo-petrol engines, it’s hard to go back to NA motors, they just feel dull in comparison when it comes to fun. & that engine note under boost is just pure bliss!

Drawing from my years of experience investigating complex financial frauds, I wish to share two purely generic observations, offered with absolutely no opinion, reference, or implication whatsoever regarding Parag Agarwal’s Parallel: 1. Valuations in many high-profile ventures are frequently managed and manipulated. 2. A significant number of so-called “high-growth” success stories are, in reality, sustained by sophisticated money-laundering structures, where slush funds are circuitously routed and layered as legitimate equity investments into start-ups and unicorn companies. I repeat, for absolute clarity: these are broad, experience-based comments applicable across the ecosystem. They are not directed at, nor intended to comment upon, Parag Agarwal’s Parallel in any manner.
Chota Don@choga_don

This is how an enterprise mind works, you will be blown away with this story of MOTHER of all the comebacks 🤯 Parag Agrawal Ex CEO or Twitter built a 15,000 Crore worth company in just 2 years after got fired by Elon Musk in 2022 >Instead of fading out, he quietly built an AI startup called Parallel. >Parallel focuses on AI‑search infrastructure for web‑scale AI agents. >In 2025, it raised $100M at a ~$740M (≈₹6,000 crore) valuation. >In 2026, another $100M round pushed Parallel to $2B (≈₹15,000–16,000 crore). >Backers include Sequoia, Khosla Ventures, Index, and Kleiner Perkins. >From “fired overnight” to founder of a $2B AI startup in ~3 years. If he would have stayed, he would have earned a salary of 15 crore, but he was fired and now he owns a company worth 15000 crore. Sometimes a window closes, but a whole skyline of doors opens.

We buy not more than 40,000 to 50,000 luxury cars a year. If you remove corporates, star hotels, tourism industry and so on - 25,000 to 30,000 households only buy luxury cars ever year. I shared recently how the total luxury cars running on the Indian road contains less than half a million households, a meager 0.15% of India’s households. Many in personal finance lacks sense of proportion. That's why they come out with retirement corpus numbers like Rs.40 crores.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

If you press red you instantly get $5000 If more than 50% press blue they get $5000 each If less than 50% press blue they all get $0 Ofc game theory works differently with money than lives but what would you pick?
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@arroworks That’s not the point. First time luxury car owners are more than happy to buy an EV when priced well. The money otherwise spent on RTO, fuel cost and ice maintenance is saved and can help offset emis.

In 6 months, it will disappear from the radar. The CLA was previously positioned as the entry-level sedan but now, in its new avatar, it is confused. How many electric Mercedes does one see on the road? 99.9% are ICE.
Autocar India@autocarindiamag

LAUNCHED ➡️ Prices for the @MercedesBenzInd CLA Electric start at Rs 55 lakh. It’s available in two variants: 200 Standard Range and 250+ Long Range. Tap below for more info: autocarindia.com/car-news/merce…

For those who don’t understand, here’s what this looks like with Discord: - Turned off iCloud backups - Installed Discord and created a new account - Uninstalled and reinstalled Discord - Still signed in without any manual intervention This is a big security and privacy issue.
tuxsudo@tuxpizza

Apple actually tried to fix this glaring privacy issue in iOS 10.3 beta by deleting all keystore (keychain) values once an app is uninstalled. However too many apps relied on this undocumented 'feature', so they ended up reverting the change before releasing the public version.

@ShivrattanDhil1 You fail to understand the goal of Teslas. It’s to disengage the driver as much as possible. With FSD this is the most unique experience you can ever have in a car. Making an engaging cabin for a car that drives itself is stupid.

People are actually paying ₹62 lakh for this dull, uninspiring interior. It’s so bland it could make you feel sleepy behind the wheel. I’d never consider buying it, no matter what. Just compare it to the interior of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that’s what a proper, engaging cabin should look like! 🤦🏻‍♂️@Tesla

The only perfect dashboard a beautiful mix of old-school buttons and switches with a modern screen. The Jeep Rubicon truly has one of the best interior setups ever. No car, no brand can match it! 😍👌🏻

Very sorry to burst the bubble but without valuation game, buying a super luxury car is not possible in FnB business of my scale. So need to lock in and build more. I think may be 200 outlets will be a good no. for buying one without valuation game.

Pangram Labs
Pangram Labs@pangramlabs·
We've released two versions of Pangram based on EditLens, an AI detection framework from our 2026 ICLR paper. Two-thirds of writing requests to ChatGPT involve modifying user-provided text, and detection needs to account for this. Unlike previous detectors, EditLens scores text on a spectrum, correctly assigning low scores to minor AI corrections and higher scores to substantive rewrites. Both frameworks are lightweight enough to run on a MacBook, making them accessible to any researcher. The model checkpoints, training dataset, and source code are all available now. We hope this release enables researchers to build on and extend our work.

@markgadala I think a key piece of the puzzle is that the app store commissions likely drive 20-25% of Apples *profits* Vibe coding in the long haul is a threat to this golden goose also Apple's xcode is implementing ai coding features, making these apps a competitor

Apple has quietly halted App Store updates for popular AI "vibe-coding" applications most notably the $9 billion startup Replit and mobile app builder Vibecode. After months of pushback, Apple is reportedly demanding major UX changes. Replit is being asked to force its generated app previews to open in an external web browser rather than natively inside its app. Vibecode was told it must completely remove the ability to generate software specifically for Apple devices.
