While the rest of CT was chasing exit liquidity and farming fleeting emissions, @DeriveXYZ and @D2_Finance were quietly building the endgame for onchain volatility. The market finally caught up to the math: • Dominance: Derive now commands ~$1.2B in Open Interest (Top 3 DEX globally) and captures ~90% of all onchain options liquidity. • Scale: We’re seeing record $130M+ BTC structures printed in single blocks. This isn't "retail hopium": it’s institutional-grade flow. • Sustainability: Zero reliance on emissions crutches or farming gimmicks. Just pure product-market fit and organic volume. We saw the thesis back in 2023: high-fidelity options infrastructure is the prerequisite for sophisticated yield. D2 provides the strategies; Derive provides the venue. This wasn’t an overnight success. It is the result of relentless execution by @itseneff, @dillonlin_, @ksett13, @0x_Atreyu,…and @CptRandlelwa (a Day Zero D2 user), and a shared refusal to settle for anything less than top-tier excellence. Let’s scale exponentially. 🐎💚 The Year of the Fire Horse.

There is one competitor to $vvv at like 10-15mn mcap Team probably highest quality in the space, only issue is that there are dogshit at communicating for unknown reasons Sized in quite a lot, hopefully can ride it up till 1bn+ mcap

I like what hyperliquid is and will pick up $hype in due course (no current position), but I’d prefer to establish exposure at significantly lower levels where the asymmetric upside is more compelling. Whats the likely lows ? Couldnt tell you.. Loosely held opinion but imo it flips tron, doge, shitdano and I wouldnt be surprised if at some point in 2026/2027 in bullish conditions it captures half of solana's market cap and sits below it. Given that it fundamentally remains good - and no regulatory issues change rules around dexes.
