@litexev What makes fl studio's piano roll so much better? I'm more of a "play it in live" guy, but maybe that's because I haven't met the right piano roll.

@farayofsun Such nice execution. Any chance you'd post this on Github? Would love to make this a screensaver, perhaps add a couple parameters (wind randomization, plant types, time of day / quality of light?)

@tylerangert It’s effectively a pickwhip. After Effects has had one forever. Though theirs is a little more…energetic?

@Sinevibes Curious what platforms you'll be targeting. Same as usual? Anything new?

When we say "zero aliasing" in our oscillator – we mean a crisp, detailed square waveform in the low range, further becoming a single pure sine wave partial in the final octave! Check out this spectrogram of a note sequence spanning 10 octaves.

🐉 Smaug got some upgrades tonight thanks to first time contributors @afalk, @webology, and aparente - By popular demand, your X bookmark folders now carry over as tags, dates show when the tweet was posted (not fetched) - New --all flag lets you grab your WHOLE bookmark history, not just the last few Just BE CAREFUL, this can get very token expensive smaug run --limit 50 -t keeps you in control. 🐉 github.com/alexknowshtml/…

Strudel live music coding is super neat. I made a quick LLM assistant so music noobs like me can type "add a bassline," it skims the Strudel docs, edits the pattern, hits play, and you instantly hear the result

.@POTUS has been asking for evidence on the effectiveness of covid vaccines, saying the "CDC is being ripped apart over this question." At Elicit, we strongly believe in evidence-based policymaking. We also know that evidence synthesis is hard - there's a lot of information out there. Some of it seems contradictory. Not all evidence is high quality. @POTUS, @CDCgov - here are 604 published studies related to the effectiveness of covid vaccines.

Introducing Fit Image, a new sizing option unique to @framer. Most design tools make you match your frame’s aspect ratio to the image source by hand. Fit Image adapts the layer size automatically, unlocking new layouts, responsive design options, and future interactions.

“Design leader” announces they’re joining DOGE. Congrats ensues. WTF. Really? I’m confused: do you not understand how it operates (illegally, callously, stupidly), or does that excite you? No one’s going to heroically design those attributes away.

Also did I mention, Elicit's the only one where it makes it so easy to check the generated statements against the paper? So far, none of the "deep" ones I tested even academic ones do this yet. Kinda surprised this isn't the standard already. (4)

If you try Elicit's new product, a gentle reminder: you might benefit from it 🤞, but you're likely not the intended audience. It’s more AfterEffects than Canva — professional grade, for folks reading research papers daily.
