@VickyFulleg48i @shaguncrypto Sounds like a personal choice that people should have to reap the consequences of. I do think financial education is basically non-existent and that has to change.

By the time you turn 65, you have $750,000 into Social Security. Invest that money at 5%, it would be $2.5 million. That alone could generate $125,000/year. Instead you are promised about $2,800/month starting at 67. That’s ~$33,000/year. How is this not a terrible trade?

“Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) demanded a “formal investigation” into a popular Chinese gadget maker, alleging its products pose “unacceptable risks to US national security The lawmakers flagged concerns about Anker — which sells “smart” home goods like security cameras through its Eufy brand, along with fast-charging batteries — in a letter to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and Commerce Department Secretary Howard Lutnick. They pointed out that Anker appeared to be targeting US military families with sales promotions, including a 20% discount on Eufy products for current and former service members and their spouses.” Read more in @nypost 👇 nypost.com/2026/03/02/bus…

@HudsonJonHudson @EliseStefanik It's not the "made" part, it's the "designed" part. Blindly making something based on a spec sheet is one thing, but actually designing and being able to stick code in the design without anyone knowing is quite another.

@EliseStefanik So, pretty much like the rest of the Eufy brand type security cameras... they are all MADE IN CHINA. Are you gonna go after them too? It figures, I guess, I use Anker products, and their charging/data cables are about the best you can buy.

It really is remarkable to me still, 72 hours later, that Iranian officials would rather risk death by Jews than log into Microsoft Teams. That's how bad a product it is.

@Trevor_Majors @Simon_Ingari The type of industry is extremely important. Most service-based industries would do find even if everyone disappeared for a couple days. Healthcare, retail, emergency, etc. actually can't do that.

@robdill53 @christoph_low @King_Meng_Huo @Simon_Ingari Most Frontline managers get absolutely zero say in how many people they can hire, or how much they can hire for. Also, this theoretical is multiple people off at the same time. It can scale up both ways. I'll hire five more people, and now five people want off at the same time.

@jakkuh_t I remember Luke saying on WAN show once that there's the CEO that will get you to $100,000, a different CEO that will get you to your first $1M, and a 3rd CEO that will get you to $10M. Those are just three different people and it's very difficult for one person to be all three.

@ginacostag_ The biggest issue with all of this is that you're rarely negotiating with anyone making any decisions. You can say whatever you want, they're going to take notes and pass it to other people who may or may not care about your value vs. their hiring budget.

@louisedbegin I know this is staged, but this is still the stupidest staged thing I've seen. If my wife asks me to say a girl's name, I assume she wants it for something, and if she was going to use her own name she would just use her own name. Her name is the last thing I would say.

If the Biden administration was still "in charge" when all of this is going down, every single conservative influencer would be screeching about Alex Prettis second amendment rights. I think about that a lot. How the narrative would look if the opposite party was "in charge" with every main stream situation that happens.

@Kwin8675309 @clareanneath The declining birth rate in Western society is because women have been taught that they don't just have a right to have a career, but an obligation, otherwise they're subpar. Countries with government maternity leave are still under replacement rate.

@clareanneath That's part of the reason women choose not to have children. The workplace refuses to accommodate mothers. Government can't find a solution, that doesn't involve sending women back to the 1950s. The result is a declining birth rate.

1 in 4 American mothers return to work within 2 weeks of giving birth. Puppies legally can’t be taken from their mothers before 8 weeks. We treat dogs better than mothers and their newborns.

@Isitmattoralex @WeAreNot_OK @Vulpescap @crash_bnb Are you kidding? I doom scrolled for at least 15 minutes a few hours later and found almost nothing that wasn't leftists celebrating his murder. Some more directly, some with memes, some with "wink wink" posts, but I didn't see a single post from anyone on the left condemning it.

As an independent voter who leans slightly right, I feel I’ve been given the following two choices: 1) the party that executes US citizens for political theater and the lies about what is clear on video 2) the party that doesn’t do that

@REXSOVEREIGN @Mappy6984 From the Court itself there: 'A physician who tells a patient, “Your life is threatened[...], and you may die[...]unless an abortion is performed,” and in the same breath states “but the law won’t allow me to provide an abortion[...]” is simply wrong in that legal assessment.'

If the Second Amendment does not apply to this exact kind of moment, what do people think it is for? A citizen can lawfully carry, see masked federal agents beating someone in public, move toward the scene to help, and then get erased with a hail of bullets because “he had a gun.” That excuse is an insult in a country where possession is legal by design, where the whole point is that the public never becomes a disarmed audience watching state power operate with impunity. I’m not interested in arguing frame-by-frame footage. I’m interested in the principle that a free people cannot accept a standard where lawful carry becomes a death sentence the second authority feels threatened. If that is the standard, then the 2nd Amendment has been reduced to a vibe. The founders did not write it so Republicans could do militia cosplay on weekends.

@theficouple You can include it in your net worth, but only at the purchase price. You shouldn't think your home going up in value means your net worth is going up, which is the problem.

Will never understand why people don't include a home in their net-worth. If the home is worth $550,000 and you owe $200,000 that $350,000 absolutely goes to your net-worth. What am I missing!?

@gentryld Would this help though? How would you handle that extra day? Especially since all 3 major world religions care about a specific, repeating, 7-Day week? Would people just work that day and not get paid for it? Or just be a day off for the world where no one does any work ever?

I think about the international fixed calendar all the time: - 13 months - exactly 4 weeks per month - every week starts with Sunday 13 * 28 = 364 days One "year day" (and optional "leap day") that doesn't belong to a week. ❤️❤️❤️
