@ahmed__emad7 @al_choom @winigoat7 Exactly, hard to make the argument that you are the most valuable player when your team has the 2nd best record with you on a minutes restriction and a 10-5 record with you not playing.
English

@al_choom @winigoat7 The been bolwing teams out for 2 months + mins restriction after injury for a month
English

sorry but 25/11 as a 7’5 demigod doesn’t move me as much as the others do
FIBA Basketball@FIBA
Who's your NBA MVP of 2025-26 season? 🌟
English

@Jacobtheclipper LMAOOO
You can’t beat a single g-league player.
You can’t beat a single D1 player.
Bronny averages 18 in the g league.
You can’t average 3.
English

“Jacob, Bronny would cook you 1v1” — Bron fanboys
Bronny is 2 inches taller than me and 20 lbs heavier. He can’t shoot- just like his dad. I would guard him like the Spurs guarded Bron: give him two feet of space and dare him to shoot. Best out of three, I am coming out on top, I PROMISE you that 👊
Revenge season is officially complete ✅
We got 2nd place last season (albeit I was out of the country and left my guys hanging in the final; we lost by 20). So this season I told the guys we will win it all and NOBODY will even get a win on us. Promise complete: 12-0 and we won the chip. The team we beat was actually up 9 in the first half. They finally played me man to man and I had to hit contested 3s. I shot poorly from downtown- I think I went 2/5 but I just kept attacking and good things happened. This was an ugly game that ended 46-41.
Best feeling is when the other team puts their heads down and you know the game is over. My pick and roll and free throws iced the game. I had the game-high 19 points 🤝
English

@worldinmyhands0 @0neWay_J @NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 which half of the ten in the first line.
I think passing is clearly the highest weighted skill for playmaking. Steph’s other skills put him over a lot of passers, but I don’t think he’s better than 5 of the 10 I named at “playmaking”.
I think he’s at the edge of 10 (7-13)
English

@chance4422 @0neWay_J @NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 half of these names are bs😂😂, playmaking ain jus passing clown
English

@0neWay_J @NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 his playmaking is underrated based off assists, but to me the orchestration of where the ball is going is a skill. He has skills like off ball movement, gravity, and spacing. Which definitely account for a lot. But to me it’s not “playmaking” if you aren’t making the play.
English

@0neWay_J @NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 Assists matter. Even if curry has the greatest gravity ever (debatable), he is not the guy getting the ball to the open teammate. And therefore how is he a playmaker?
He is not controlling where the ball goes and when. He may open the floor, but he is NOT the one orchestrating.
English

@worldinmyhands0 @0neWay_J @NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 Magic, Lebron, bird, Nash, chris Paul, stockton, jokic, luka, rondo, Jason kidd.
Then you got guys like harden, Halliburton, Westbrook, Isaiah Thomas, Gary Payton, and others that are just much better passers/playmakers that I really don’t know if gravity makes curry better.
English

@NBAOHSPATBOY @purehoops35 pure delusion. arguably the best offensive player of all time (3rd all time at minimum) and top 10 playmaker of all time. the only lack is his game is defense, and he’s much improved throughout his career
English

Curry outplays him every time so it don’t matter
Legion Hoops@LegionHoops
JUST IN: Steph Curry is out tonight against the Lakers-- we won't get a LeBron vs. Steph matchup this season. 💔
English

@SmallCapKing2 I briefly did an industry overview on CYRX but know little besides that.
Why is it up? And what is your thesis?
My preliminary thoughts were that the transition from phase 2/3 trials to commercial would offer meaningful rev and margin acceleration that hasn’t been priced yet.
English

@KEDM_COM What do you think of the debt situation? Just eyeballing it, pro forma fcf < annual int payments.
Preferred’s are also heavily dilutive if it ever reaches strike, not sure what negative levers CDR can pull if share price stays depressed.
What are your thoughts?
English

The shares were recovering when the recent market turmoil broke out. It’s not the cleanest situation, but that said, this kind of shock (i.e., market volatility amid a transformational acquisition) can provide interesting opportunities for those willing to do the work. Interesting to keep an eye on.

@patriot1776tex @LakerCj Gasol not ass but he’s no top 5 or 10 big man of all time

Kobe Bryants Dominance 2006-2010:
Regular Season: MVP/2x Scoring Champ
PPG: 29.8
RPG: 5.6
APG: 5.0
SPG: 1.6
BPG: 0.4
MPG: 39.1
Playoffs: 2x NBA Champion/2x FMVP/3 Consecutive NBA Finals Appearances. Defeated most 50+ win teams.
(79 Games)
PPG: 29.8
RPG: 5.7
APG: 5.4
SPG: 1.5
TS%: 57.0%
Total Points: 2,358
Led NBA in Playoff Scoring 3 years in a row)
You can’t be taken seriously if you want to make, “a compelling argument”, that Kobe Bryant was never the best player in the NBA during this stretch in his career.
English

@HPbasketball they are objectively “better” than dynasty warriors and heat who each had 4 straight finals runs?
The honest reason is that those other teams had multiple dominant playoff runs in a row. OKC has two dom reg seasons and a mediocre playoff run. If they win again, it’ll change.
English

I'm really interested by the idea that the Thunder are, objectively, an All-Time team. Wins. Point Differential. Defense. Defense with Offensive Capability. Led by MVP. Depth. Coaching. Culture. Execution.
But they do not feel like the all-time great teams *to me* and I do not know why. (Thunder fans, I get they fell like that to you and that people SHOULD view them that way. Read the first part again.)
If you're not a Thunder fan, does OKC feel like an all-time great team on par with Warriors 2016, 2017, or say, Heat 2012 (who were objectively much worse than OKC), OKC 2014, 01 Lakers, etc? If not, why not?
English

@purehoops35 His only flaw was the double. His lack of playmaking led to it being a huge weakness.
Greatest iso player in history I think.
English

Kevin Durant at his peak might the the only player without a flaw in the history of basketball.
Scoring - None
Shooting - None
Playmaking - None
Passing - None
Defending - None
Not 1 flaw. #KevinDurant
English

@the8thmagician @BuiltDVH @PurpGoldLakers Yeah but JJ didn’t get mad at vando for missing, he got mad that he missed three in a row, and then proceeded to not hustle, not box out, and give up a free play on defense after already fucking up. I think Jake gets away with it because he’ll miss and then hustle after.
English

“I called an early timeout because Rui didn’t do his job. So took him out of the game.
We’ve got to find 9 guys that are all in, on us fighting. And willing to go out on whatever metaphor you want to use. I don’t want to use a war metaphor in this time.
Whatever you have to do to go out and fight. And be all in on the team. We’ll find a 9 guys. It’s a good opportunity for us over the next 3 games to find those guys.”
JJ Redick on locking in 9 guys

English

@aryh21 Not to mention the defensive gap and all time stinker in game 2.
Curry was clearly the best player on the warriors, the issue is that Igoudala’s “impact” was higher in the sense he shifted the game with his defensive effort. There was nothing Curry could do to outperform Bron.
English

@aryh21 No tax on Steph, Lebron was 2x the player in the series. FMVP is based on per game value.
Best player per series (2nd best):
Game 1 - Bron (Curry/Igoudala)
Game 2 - Bron (Klay)
Game 3 - Bron (Curry)
Game 4 - Curry/Igoudala
Game 5 - Curry (Bron)
Game 6 - Bron (Igoudala)
English

The only time the loser deserves FMVP is if it’s a 2004 pistons situation and the other guy putting up absurd otherworldly performances (even then it would need to be heavily qualified) in the 2015 context it was star vs star with star who you don’t think deserved it while winning outplaying the other one the last 3 games
Even if you think LeBron outplayed Steph it certainly was not by a large margin and if you think that deserves FMVP as the loser that sets a pretty wild precedent
Do you know how many FMVPS would need to be amended? Hell LeBron definitely deserved the 2018 FMVP then
But ofc you don’t actually think it should be the precedent it’s just a hyper specific standard fit to tax Steph
Sam Quinn@SamQuinnCBS
@aryh21 I’m not clear on how this constitutes Steph hate I’m literally saying he didn’t get enough credit just that LeBron deserved more.
English

@Son18796 @TheTruth8240 @KillaWorldPeace Kyrie made the shot that gave the Cavs the lead and nobody else scored after that.
English

@the8thmagician @BuiltDVH @PurpGoldLakers He hustles and makes the right play consistently. You can’t control shots not going in.
Free throws are a little different, missing three in a row… but it’s more the “doing your job.” Jake does his job even if he’s not some elite player.
English

@BuiltDVH @PurpGoldLakers I stg it makes no sense whatsoever
English

@ElGuerroPuma @realManiAiyer @RealSkipBayless The 30-9-15 last night wasn’t stat padding, it was just a 41 yr old being really good at basketball still even as a shell of his former self is all I’m sayin
He is good and puts of good production/stats
English

@ElGuerroPuma @realManiAiyer @RealSkipBayless Bro lots of players do that it’s normal even jordan would ask for the stat sheet at halftime.
People act like Lebron only has good stats bc he purposely stat pads each category. I think he just plays ball. I won’t argue w the fact that if he got 9 assists he prob goin for 10.
