Driven by my parents' legacy, who lived & worked for over 25 years in the US until they passed away, never gaining legal status, I advocate for Immigration Ref.

Amerigo Vespucci is best known for realizing the lands Columbus explored were a "New World," a continent separate from Asia, not the East Indies. His detailed letters describing these voyages and his geographical insights convinced Europeans of this fact, leading German cartographer Martin Waldseemüller to name the new continent "America" in his honor on a 1507 map, a name that stuck.

@WallStreet_Apies You’re comparing apples to oranges—and missing the most important ingredient: labor. 1️⃣ The "Freebies" Myth: Undocumented immigrants are ineligible for almost all federal benefits (Medicaid, SNAP, Section 8). In reality, they contribute billions in Social Security and Medicare taxes they will never collect. They don't get "free cash"—they provide the cheap labor that keeps your grocery bills down. 2️⃣ The "Global Comparison": In Mexico, the penalty for first-time entry is an administrative fine or deportation, not 2 years in prison. In Australia, mandatory detention is a massive humanitarian controversy, not a "normal" standard. 3️⃣ The "Consequences" Reality: My parents, Ramona and Miguel, lived the ultimate "consequences." They spent 25 years in California factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were the definition of "proving their worth" through decades of sweat and taxes. My mother passed away 11 years ago yesterday. She didn't die in a "labor camp"—she died in the shadows of the country she clothed. True "accountability" isn't rounding up the people who build our nation; it’s passing the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) so that 25 years of work actually results in the Dignity it earned. 🕊️ Sign the Petition: changeourstatus.com #DignityAct #HR4393 #MadeInUSA #Legacy #FactCheck

Every person in America should be required to watch this “Punishment for entering a country illegally” - Russia, 2 years in a labor camp - India, 8 years in prison - Australia, up to 5 years in prison and mandatory detention before deportation - Australia, you can't even move there if you want to move there legally without proving your worth - Mexico, up to 2 years in prison for first-time illegal entry But USA, of course, congrats. You get free housing, free health care, free food and free cash. Deportation is not racist. It's called actions meet consequences, something that is foreign to so many Americans these days. It's so normal everywhere else. And yet here, we, we hate the idea that there is punishment associated with a crime. It is truly phenomenal to watch so many minds be molded and transformed into believing that this is a bad thing, even though, again, all the other countries, it's totally normal”

@Govt_Acct_Inst You call our culture a "clash of civilizations," yet the only "clash" here is the irony of your message. You use terms like "alien" to describe our community, but then claim to feel "left out" when @sanbenito speaks Spanish. You can’t have it both ways. My parents, Ramona and Miguel, were the people you're trying to frame as "anti-Anglo." In reality, they spent 25 years in CA factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were the ultimate patriots—working in the shadows to clothe this nation, paying their taxes, and raising a family that loves this country. My mother passed 11 years ago yesterday. She didn't die for a "hidden message"; she died because of a broken system that refuses to see the humanity in the hands that build America. We don't need a "breakdown" of lyrics to understand Dignity. We need the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) to recognize the millions of "Ramonas and Miguels" who have already proven they are part of this civilization. 🕊️ Sign the Petition: changeourstatus.com #DignityAct #HR4393 #MadeInUSA #TogetherWeAreAmerica

@JesseBWatters It wasn't "inclusion," Jesse. It was recognition. You mention America turning 250, but let's look at the map in 1776. While the East Coast was declaring independence, Spanish-speaking settlers from Mexico were founding the very city that hosted the Super Bowl: San Francisco. Spanish has been spoken on that soil since before the U.S. was a nation. My parents, Ramona and Miguel, were part of that long history. They spent 25 years in CA factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They weren't "outsiders"—they were the workers who literally clothed this country. My mother passed away 11 years ago yesterday. She died in the shadows because people prefer to argue about "subtitles" rather than acknowledge the 25 years of labor she gave to America. We don't need a translation to recognize hard work and history. It's time to pass the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) and give the people who built our cities the respect they earned. 🕊️ Sign the Petition: changeourstatus.com #DignityAct #HR4393 #SuperBowl #History #MadeInUSA

JUST IN: Americans needed SUBTITLES for their own SUPER BOWL 🇺🇸🚨 For the first time, MILLIONS of viewers felt LEFT OUT of the biggest game of the year. 🤨📺 This was an OPEN BORDERS halftime performance A SUPER BOWL performance should bring the country together, not make AMERICAN FANS feel like outsiders. America is turning 250 this year 🇺🇸🎂 — and somehow we are celebrating EVERYONE BUT OURSELVES.

@RepFine Congressman, my parents were the people you are talking about. For 25 years, Ramona and Miguel worked in California factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were taxpayers who loved this country and respected its laws. They weren't "filth"—they were the backbone of an American industry. My mother passed away 11 years ago yesterday. She died in the shadows, not because she was a criminal, but because our system lacks the "Dignity" to recognize 25 years of honest labor. Threatening to "round up" people over a musical preference doesn't fix our borders or our economy. Passing the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) does. Let’s focus on earned legal status for the hardworking people who have already proven their loyalty to America through decades of work. 🕊️ #DignityAct #HR4393 #MadeInUSA #Legacy

Today would be a great day to round up and deport illegals. Especially those who liked "Bad Bunny"'s filth. ALL of them. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Congressman Randy Fine@RepFine

You can't say the f-word on live TV. "Bad Bunny"'s disgusting halftime show was illegal. Had he said these lyrics -- and all of the other disgusting and pornographic filth in English on live TV, the broadcast would have been pulled down and the fines would have been enormous. Puerto Ricans are Americans and we all live by the same rules. We are sending @BrendanCarrFCC a letter calling for dramatic action, including fines and broadcast license reviews, against the @NFL, @nbc, and "Bad Bunny." Lock them up.

11 years ago today, the world lost a light, and I lost my mother, Ramona Vazquez. 🕊️ She and my father, Miguel, spent 25 years in California factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were the definition of the American worker—loyal, hardworking, and "invisible" to the law. They never got to see the Dignity they earned. Today, I’m turning my grief into a mission. In their honor, I re-launched my campaign for immigration reform to support the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). We have 1,300+ signatures and I won't stop until every essential worker is seen. I am doing this in honor of my deceased parents, for the factory workers, the local vendors, and every family waiting for a second chance. @RepMariaSalazar Respectfully, I have to disagree. While I deeply appreciate your tireless efforts for the undocumented residents through the Dignity Act, this halftime show was far from a "lost opportunity." To many of us, @sanbenito’s performance wasn't just a concert; it was a peaceful protest against the "invisible" status our community is often forced into. When he sang in Spanish on the world’s biggest stage, he wasn't excluding anyone—he was demanding that the millions of us who contribute to this country every day finally be seen. My parents, Ramona and Miguel, spent 25 years in CA factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were as American as football, yet they died in the shadows (my mom 11 years ago today, and my dad in 2019). For families like mine, seeing our language and culture celebrated wasn't divisive—it was a message of inclusion for all ethnicities and a reminder that "Together We Are America." We don't need subtitles to understand a message of love, resilience, and hard work. That is the same spirit of "Dignity" we are fighting for in your legislation. 🕊️ I re-launched my campaign for immigration reform by supporting your Dignity Act Bill (H.R. 4393) days ago with 1,300+ signatures to honor my parents' legacy. Let’s focus on the contribution, not the language. changeourstatus.com #DignityAct #HR4393 #SuperBowl #BadBunny #TogetherWeAreAmerica

The Super Bowl is the biggest game of America’s most iconic sport. It’s a national moment to bring the whole country together. And let’s be honest—it should not be a multicultural fair. Its audience is overwhelmingly English-speaking, and they deserve a half time show they can understand and enjoy. To have a fully Spanish-language halftime show, with no subtitles, isn’t inclusive. It’s exclusive. In Miami, we listen to Spanish music, but we put America First. Unfortunately, today, instead of talking about the great contributions Hispanics make to our country—the legal ones and the undocumented—we are debating how poorly this event missed the mark. A very big opportunity lost!!

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love. We love our people, we love our families—and that is how we fight." 🕊️ Last week at the Grammys, @sanbenito reminded us that we aren't "aliens" or "animals"—we are humans. Last night at the Super Bowl, he carried a football with a message that hit home: "Together We Are America." Today, February 9th, is the 11th anniversary of losing my mother, Ramona. > She and my father, Miguel, were the very heart of that "Together." They spent 25 years in California factories sewing "Made in USA" clothes. They were the backbone of their industry and law-abiding taxpayers who loved this country. Yet, they both passed away (my mom in 2015, my dad in 2019) still "invisible" to the law. My parents didn't live to see the dignity they earned, but I am fighting to make sure others do. I re-launched my campaign for the Bipartisan Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). It is a common-sense, earned pathway to legal status for people who have spent decades building our communities. It’s time to move forward with the love and unity Benito spoke about. Polls show people are tired of a broken system, but "mass deportation" is a trillion-dollar taxpayer burden that would shatter our economy. We don't need to spend billions on enforcement when we can have accountability instead. The Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) is the solution Americans are actually looking for. It’s not amnesty—it’s an earned path that requires: ⚖️ $7,000 in Restitution: Participants pay their own way, funding the system themselves. 🛡️ Zero Taxpayer Cost: A 1% levy on their paychecks funds border security and retrains American workers. 🚫 No Handouts: Zero access to federal benefits. My parents paid taxes for 25 years and never took a dime. They subsidized the American Dream for others. Let’s pass a bill that finally honors hard work and restores law and order without bankrupting the country. Sign my petition: changeourstatus.com #DignityAct #HR4393 #ImmigrationReform

Despite everything that happened in MN, three new polls found that the clear majority of Americans—52%, 56%, and 61%—still support deporting every illegal alien, not the "worst of the worst." It's not because they're racists. They're sick of being robbed of the American Dream.

My parents were part of that "foreign-born" population. For 25 years, they pledged their allegiance not just with words, but with their lives—sewing "Made in USA" clothes in American factories. They paid into Social Security and Medicare every year, subsidizing the retirement of U.S. citizens while never being allowed to take a dime for themselves. That isn't an "invasion"—it's an essential workforce that has been the backbone of our towns for decades. We need to move past the fear and pass the Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). This is Waukegan, Illinois - a town where 20 percent of the population is foreign born. They don't pledge allegiance to our flag. When are people going to wake up and understand what the Democrats have done to our country? Our borders were breached. We were invaded. We were occupied. and one by one our cities and towns are being conquered.

This narrative ignores a massive irony: undocumented workers paid over $96B in taxes last year, including billions into Social Security and Medicare—programs they are legally barred from ever using. They are essentially subsidizing the retirement of U.S. citizens. My parents, Ramona and Miguel, worked 25 years in CA factories, paid every tax, and never took a dime in "welfare." They didn't want a handout; they wanted the dignity they earned. Instead of attacking families, let’s pass the Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). Congressman Lawler is being a realist. The "25 million" figure is a major exaggeration—non-partisan data shows the actual number is closer to 11-14 million, and it's currently declining. Mass deportation would still cost taxpayers billions and shatter the economy. The Dignity Act (H.R. 4393) is the better path because it isn't amnesty—it’s accountability. Unlike amnesty, it requires: ⚖️ Restitution: A $7,000 fine paid by the individual, not taxpayers. 🛡️ Security: 100% mandatory E-Verify and certified border control. 🚫 No Handouts: Participants fund the program themselves via a 1% levy. My parents paid taxes for 25 years and never asked for a handout. We need a system that mandates people pay their way, not a system based on inflated numbers. The "free" narrative misses the math. In 2022 alone, undocumented workers paid $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes. This includes $25.7 billion to Social Security and $6.4 billion to Medicare—programs they fund but are legally barred from ever using. They are essentially subsidizing the retirement of the people complaining about them. My parents, Ramona and Miguel, paid into these systems for 25 years in CA factories and got $0 back. We don't need "free" programs; we need the Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). It moves beyond state-level debates by creating a federal path where workers earn their standing, pay $7,000 in restitution, and pay a 1% levy to fund border security. I am fighting for the "invisible" workforce in honor of my parents. 🕊️ My parents, Ramona Vazquez and Miguel Centeno, were the definition of "essential." For 25 years, they worked in factories across Los Angeles and Orange County, sewing the "Made in USA" clothes that represent this country's pride. They paid their taxes, contributed to their community, and raised us to believe in the American Dream. But they never got to see that dream fully realized. My mother passed away on February 9, 2015, and my father followed her on March 9, 2019. They spent their final years as they spent their working years: "invisible" to the laws of the country they served. They died in the shadows, never receiving the recognition or the dignity they earned through decades of hard labor. We cannot let this be the story for millions of other families. I am calling on Congress to pass the Bipartisan Dignity Act of 2025 (H.R. 4393). This is a common-sense, bipartisan path forward that already has the support of 35 cosponsors and 60 national organizations. It provides: ✅ Earned Legal Status: A strict 7-year process requiring long-term residents to pass background checks, pay $7,000 in restitution, and work legally. ✅ Border Security: Implementing 100% mandatory E-Verify and restoring operational control of our borders. ✅ No Taxpayer Cost: The program is fully funded by the participants themselves through a 1% levy.
