We just know due to overwhelming factual evidence that socialism always makes poverty worse.

Until AI makes jobs obsolete, all economic systems are slavery. The difference in each is how does it force people to do jobs no one wants. In capitalism, threat of starvation is the force. Communism the state is the force. Socialism depends on flavor but work or loose shared benefits is one option. Socialism will be just fine when AI does the so called bad jobs. Till then, pick your forced labor method.

Communism was never the enemy. That’s just what the US conditions us to believe so we continue to obey and submit to a capitalist system that funnels the wealth our labor creates to the billionaire class.

I honestly don’t care how many people you think died under past communist “regimes”.

Prepare for a flood of anti AI grifters trying to earn a living by scaring everybody, spreading doom and gloom about the end of the world. When YouTube recommends me AI videos, most of them already have anti AI titles.
This will grow 10x or more in the near future.
These people don’t really care, they only pretend to. They can’t even envision the damage they could potentially cause by trying to stop/slow AI progress (by stopping AI progress, we also stop progress in medicine and biology).
They only care about clickbait headlines, views, and money.

Politicians - especially Dems - should pledge not to take AI money.
They are buying up influence ahead of the midterms, and Dems who take AI $ will lose authority and trust as the public bears the cost.
Their money will end up being toxic anyway. People are catching on.
