The US blockade aims to do two things: (i) give Iran a taste of its own medicine for blockading the Strait of Hormuz; (ii) send Iran’s economy into a tailspin and thereby bring the regime to the negotiating table in good faith. It’s doing both. wsj.com/world/middle-e…

Britain should immediately outlaw the IRGC. London could also allow U.S. forces greater leeway in using British bases to combat Tehran. Downing Street might not like how the U.S.-Israel war with Iran arose. But Britain and its citizens clearly have an interest in its success—@CharlieLaderman fdd.org/analysis/2026/…

There was a time that Britain prided itself on protecting its citizens — whatever their religion — wherever they were in the world. Now the government is reluctant to defend them from foreign aggression even on its own soil, writes @FDD @charlieladerman fdd.org/analysis/2026/…

This is not an answer. We don’t want to live behind higher walls. We want you to end the permissive atmosphere which has allowed the epidemic of antisemitism to flourish.

It’s all too clear that a country in which Jews are attacked on the streets simply because they are Jewish, synagogues need to employ security, & anti-Semitic slogans & images are paraded through city centres or exhibited in art galleries is exactly what we’ve become.

Here come the cliches….. ‘This is not who we are as country’ ‘this has no place in british society’ and the rest…. Aptly done @JewishNewsUK

Today, a man ran through Golders Green, a Jewish neighborhood in London, stabbing Jews outside a synagogue in broad daylight. The UK PM called it "utterly appalling." Here's what's actually appalling: For two years, Western streets have hosted marches calling for the elimination of Israel. Universities have celebrated it. Politicians have legitimized it. The media has normalized it. You don't get to spend two years mainstreaming the idea that Jews and their state have no right to exist and then act shocked when someone takes the message literally. Words have consequences. "From the river to the sea" isn't poetry. "Globalize the intifada" isn't a metaphor. When you spend years telling the world that Jewish presence in the Middle East or in Golders Green is a problem to be solved, don't be surprised when someone shows up with a knife to solve it. The ideology and the blade are the same weapon. One just has a longer handle.

Policymakers and the UK public need to be clear that this is a sustained campaign that's being going on for years now; that it's part of a much wider campaign against European societies, using the same methods and with the same objectives; and that it's not going to go away.

Today, beyond all reasonable doubt, it is clear that both Russia & Iran are paying British citizens to commit acts of terrorism on British soil, & both the government & the state still seem to be in reactive mode, even after it became clear Russia was targeting the PM directly.

I worked for UK charities for 6 years. Wrote about them for another 7. It's hard to explain how seriously civil society has failed British Jews. My Jewish friends & former colleagues have begged volsec for, if nothing more, a show of public solidarity. They got close to fuck all.

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine left its waters heavily mined, Ukraine developed advanced sea drones to help clear the bottom of its seafloor. Now, President Zelenskyy is offering the same technology to the U.S. to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz. CBS News’ Aidan Stretch saw up-close how they work.

This bloke heard that Palestinian jihadists had carried out a similar albeit far deadlier attack that killed 1100+ Jews in a single day and, while the bodies were being desecrated in the streets, lauded it as a 'fight back' and posted using the Hamas codename for the atrocity in Arabic. Then he got promoted to deputy leader of the Greens, who hold themselves out as holier than thou ‘anti-racists’ and spend their lives shouting ‘fascist’ at the rest of society. These people are deeply, deeply sinister frauds.

Devastating news from Golders Green this morning. My prayers are with everyone affected. We are in debt to the emergency services, including Hatzola, for their immediate response. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/a…

When I was younger I remember reading a number of books that had a global view of strategy. Right or wrong, what was interesting was reading about the world as a whole, and also America's place in it. A lot has changed obviously since the 1990s and early 2000s. One change I think is that there isn't as much talk about strategy that has a global view. This is a loss and it's worth considering what the next decades will bring. If we don't think in terms of larger strategy, it will certainly be to our detriment.

All of this cuts both ways. UK has a three-star in the US Space Command for example, as well half a dozen two stars and dozen one stars across the US system. Deputy Commanding General - Maneuver for US 1st Armoured Div is a Brit. Good to have personnel cross-posted: integrates and builds trust, and doesn't make dependence any worse. EXCLUSIVE: Germany is embedding a senior U.S. officer deep into its military command structures, the German army and the Pentagon told POLITICO. The move is sign of close cooperation that comes despite worsening political ties. politico.eu/article/german…

Yesterday in London pro-Pals were cheering the words of ‘solidarity’ they got from a Hamas commander and today Jews were stabbed. There is a connection between these things and we are not confronting it.
