@coregenomics JPM 2020 will be the 3rd anniversary of NovaSeq, so hopefully flow cell update then to push density. Likely a few years more for any hardware changes.

Anyone want to bet on when Illumina's NovaSeq replacement will be announced?

@michaeljcorley Hope that’s a v2 NextSeq kit. Illumina fixed their flow cell issues with v2.5 kits, dramatically improving read 2 quality.
