“No one wants to be with Ukraine. Everyone is for Russia.” — Starobelsk residents They simply want to live, speak Russian, and keep the memory they grew up with. Their grandfathers fought fascism — and now Kiev tells them Bandera is the hero. You don’t need to ask twice which country they stand with. I’m reporting from Starobelsk, where a Ukrainian drone strike killed 21 students They were kids. Teenagers. Young people who were just starting their lives. School officials are showing the faces of those who lost their lives so they would not be forgotten. May their memory live on… Watch LIVE on BitChute at 5:30 Moscow time (2:30 GMT): bitchute.com/channel/4BfnNK…

Today is Memorial Day in America – a day of national respect for each and every person who defended America and freedom in uniform. Without the United States, there simply would have been no European freedom – and the 20th century proved this absolutely clearly. Now Russia’s full-scale war is not only against Ukraine, but also against the very format of such a Europe – a free, democratic, united Europe. It is Euro-Atlantic unity that has been, and remains, the foundation of the world’s economic and, in many respects, social development after World War II. Ukraine is grateful to the United States for supporting our defense and to all compassionate American hearts that continue to support Ukraine. This war must be ended – and ended in a dignified way. And America’s role in this – America, which Russia fears – truly can be one of leadership: in supporting our defense of life here and our ability, later on, to help defend life for other nations, those who truly need it. Thank you, America!

I remember during the Maidan Revolution, our friends from Belarus, who came to support us, asked: “What if your protest fails? What’s next? Do you have a backup plan?” All of my Ukrainian friends, including me, were stunned. We said: it will not fail. There is no other way. It will succeed — it’s only a matter of time. We will stay in the streets for as long as it takes. Months passed, and we stayed — through the rainy autumn and cold winter. And then we succeeded. That same feeling comes back when Western experts talk about the war. They ask me to be “realistic” and to give up on “maximalist demands,” to abandon something that is rightfully ours, while speaking about Ukraine having no chance to win. Ukraine will prevail and win. It’s not a matter of if — it’s a matter of when.

@LibbySnowflak @CarloCalenda Astonishing footage - this little china-russia tool become 'shoked' and 'stunned' when someone plain and clear gave him a lesson of a real discussion, instead of warm bath of 🇷🇺🇨🇳 propaganda channels where he pretends to share his 'wisdom' having no opponents who speak up Great

@LauraStarink1 In 🇺🇦 #Ukraine we really don't bother to pay attention to this weirdo V.Ishchenko, despite his multiple attempts to appropriate 🇺🇦 voice in the West He has never cared of anything besides his delusional pseudo Marxist projects. He despises 🇺🇦 society, but grifts on 🇺🇦 background

You decide who can have an opinion? To enlighten you: I studied Russian, partly in Leningrad in Brezhnev era, was Moscowcorrespondent for Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad in Gorbi era, cofounded mediaplatform on Russia when it was clear that bad times were coming, published 4 books
Volodymyr Ishchenko@Volod_Ishchenko

"My father was Dutch, my mother German. I know", and this is the reason you think you can leave an arrogant comment ridiculing a Ukrainian sociologist and an anthropologist who studied Russia for 25 years.

@P_Kallioniemi @FurkanGozukara Jeffrey Sachs was a very shallow academic, he was a fake policy advisor in Russian transition, and he exploits the Russia-Ukraine war the same way he exploited other subjects all his life. There is no way you can shame him into admitting that he fakes expertise to get publicity.

In late 2022, I learned that a fellow Tillman Scholar had gone missing while volunteering in Ukraine. He had been working to establish a green corridor in the south so women and children could escape to safety. No one knew whether he was alive in Russian captivity or had been killed. Not long after, while meeting with another fellow American (@RyanO_ChosenCoy) in the Kharkiv direction, he asked if I had any contacts in the south. His team had heard reports of a fallen American there, but they did not have time to search for him themselves having been called to another mission. I asked, “Are you talking about Grady Kurpasi?” He said yes. That moment began a year-long effort to bring him home. Since then, we have stood shoulder to shoulder with dozens of American families whose loved ones fell in Ukraine. They deserve more than passing acknowledgment. They deserve honor, remembrance, and a country willing to speak their names with reverence. Most of the Americans who fought and died in Ukraine were veterans. Men who had already served once, and still chose to go again. They believed freedom was worth defending, even far from home. They believed some causes still demand sacrifice. On this Memorial Day, I will honor them. They did not have to go. No one ordered them to. They went because they felt called to stand against evil, to protect the vulnerable, and to fight for something greater than themselves.

As we were bringing Colonel Andriy Melnyk and his wife Sofia back to Ukraine – through Zakarpattia and then across half the country to our free capital, Kyiv – this path was not marked by the discord that had so often knocked us, and Ukraine, off our feet in the past. There were no doubts about who Ukraine’s true enemy is, and who its friends, partners, and brothers are. And what was there was gratitude – our unconditional gratitude to all those who have dedicated their lives to serving Ukraine, and thanks to whom Ukraine withstands Russian strikes and continues to endure – gratitude to our warriors, gratitude to all our people. Colonel Andriy Melnyk returned to a different Ukraine – not the one he had been forced to leave, but the one he had dreamed of. He dreamed of it – as did thousands of other such significant Ukrainian figures. I thank all those who are truly doing their best to ensure that our Ukrainian national memory remains a living memory. I am grateful to everyone who has worked to make such returns of great Ukrainian figures possible and to give the Ukrainian People their own pantheon of heroes. Glory to every Ukrainian hero! Glory to all our Ukrainian warriors! Glory to our people!

George Galloway happily platforms for Russian state-run RT, a network that has repeatedly been accused of helping justify and whitewash the torture and abuse of Ukrainian POWs. At the same time, Russia is openly drawing teenagers from occupied territories into its military-industrial system, with students reportedly being funnelled into drone production, electronics and wartime manufacturing tied directly to the invasion of their own country. Selective outrage and propaganda don’t change the reality of what Russia has become.

Marta Kostyuk spoke more in press about a Russian missile landing close to her parent’s house, ‘Most of the morning I felt sick just from a thought that if it was 100 meters closer, I probably wouldn’t have a mom & a sister today’ “You gave quite an emotional speech at the end of the match. Could you give us a few more details about what happened next to your parent’s house?” Marta: “Well, I have this picture of my parent’s house and everything around it. I don’t have a video. This is what I received at 8 in the morning today. I had to live through it, deal with it, go out and play. I didn’t know what to expect from myself. I didn’t know how my focus is gonna be… How I’m gonna be able to control my emotions, my thoughts. There were obviously times in the match I would go back to thinking about it because most of the morning I felt sick just from a thought that if it was 100 meters closer, I probably wouldn’t have a mom and a sister today. It was really difficult to just process it so quick and also go out and play. That’s why I’m also very happy that I played first match. I don’t know what would be the outcome if I played last for example. It’s tough. But I’m very proud of myself today… proud of how we all handled it. Happy to be in the 2nd round and that everyone is alive.” ❤️🙏 (via Roland Garros Press)

After Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal in 1994, the United States, Britain, and Russia pledged to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders under the Budapest Memorandum. Russia violated that commitment. Providing Ukraine with long-range hypersonic missiles is not charity. It is part of our moral and strategic obligation to uphold the commitments that persuaded Ukraine to disarm in the first place.

Dear Pres Mbeki. Here’s the founder of “Donetsk People’s Republic”, Russian citizen Aleksandr Borodai saying the following: - We didn’t intend to fulfil the Minsk agreements. They just gave us time to get ready” [for a bigger war]. Also, Mikhail Gorbachev personally said that the West never promised to him that NATO would never expand to the East. Things that you are saying are not true. Please educate yourself about this very distant country that you never visited, called Ukraine. If what matters to you is truth and not your personal pro-Russian illusions.
