@Nfldraftregs @EdstrattonIII @chrisorzy I can't believe how many people miss this point, it is so dumb. The point isn't that a coach would ever pick a kid just because they play club, it's because the club player is usually the better player when you zoom out.

@EdstrattonIII @chrisorzy Thank you. If you are good, the coaches don’t care where else you play or how you got good. No coach is going to say “this other kid is smoking you on the court but you play on XYZ AAU team, so I’m keeping him”. Just doesn’t happen

This seems crazy to me but I don’t bet finishing positions and some ppl in the comments think it’s correct. I do bet each ways and this would be like if I bet a golfer with 10 places EW and he came in 2nd by himself but since 14 people were in the Top 10, I would have to chop
BeatinTheBookie.com®️@BeatinTheBookie

BAD BUSINESS 🚨🚨 A client had Horschel R1 T10 +750. He’s T4 right now at -4. Next place is 7th at -3. So he’s clearly inside Top 10, no dead heat. Hard Rock Bet dead heat him, even though it doesn’t apply…their response to him? Even worse! Unbelievable! Stealing money!!

@robpizzola 100%. You have time outs yourself, line up and try to draw them offsides at worst then call timeout if the lions don't first.

If they are actually going to kick this field goal, Schottenheimer made a big mistake sending the FG unit on so quickly. Detroit was waiting to see what they were going to do before using a timeout.

@TheModelManiac Golf odds nerd question for you.. Do you have a general rule on a coefficient for comparing made cut % to the top 40 market? Ie; datagolf has Eckroat -207 to make the cut and he is +100 for top 40

Implying that roughly half the time he makes the cut he would top 40.. I’ve heard you discuss similar topics regarding top 10s before and trying to nail down a value strategy for top 40s. Love taking at least one guy around even money each week

@BenColeyGolf @MoleBoard The odds auto shift to where the tracker has it too. That's a lot of trust for something that is so often wrong

@MoleBoard I don’t think it can last long if it doesn’t improve. Not sure why a bookmaker would pay so much for it, and there would be uproar if a customer had an in-play tennis bet based on say three break points when it was actually 40-15.

Cantero doing us proud again but the putter has just gone stone cold since the 7th. Been good for the week but those five short putts the difference between right there and not quite.

I bet it based on infrequent holes in one at Spyglass and Pebble and the fact this year's tournament was a reduced field, something that I didn't think was factored into the price correctly. The media guide I referenced didn't have Rose's ace from 2023, but that wasn't enough to completely change my handicap.

Did the hole-in-one bet lose less than two hours into the tournament? Yes. Do I still think it was a good bet at +110 odds? Yes. Does it being a "good bet" matter at this point? No.

I strongly advise people to not do this. You gonna lose a good b365 account for literally 10$. Lets say this is a 10% ROI bet. You bet 100$, so you are expected to profit 10$ on this type of bet over the long-run. But you will get at least 2 pts CLV on this weak opener which will flagg your account, and after betting a few of these your account is gone. B365 account is worth way more than 50$( 5 of these bets). Books look at CLV more than they look on how much did you profit, talking from experience. Its not personal, I just see this every day on my feed, and at same rate people complaining how they got limited. No shit you gonna get limited for betting stuff like this. Also books look at CLV the same either you bet 50$ or 150$. So when you decide to go for these "big edges", at least max it out so you dont lose accounts for 10$.

Was taking a look at Ludvig's last few R4 performances on my show last night 🔥🤓 using my new research tool 🤓🔥 and the RSM was his first time in 9 Sundays where he gained more than a stroke on the field. Can a man get 9 more subscribers to have "Back 9 Bets" at 500 subs before the new year?

@chewhill22 You gotta get there though! And if they all get top 10 at sentry- it’ll be tough to advance without at least 2 of them. Fun game

The amount of PGA bestball chatter on my timeline is exciting... Here are my thoughts (and yes 🏌️‍♂️picks ): What makes this game unique from other best-ball contests is the multiple layers of strategy involved. It *should* start with researching the tour's priority rankings and predicting a golfer's schedule, which, if done correctly, definitely provides an edge. Then there is the evergreen debate about planning for the first seven events versus a season-long outlook (h/t @JustinMacmahan ). Another essential piece of information for these drafts is that the first tourney ( the Sentry Tournament of Champions) typically has the highest DFS points scored of any tournament all year, let alone the first round, so ensuring six golfers play in it is an absolute must. *Confirmed entry list out in 30 ish minutes* So, here are some of the golfers I'll be targeting in drafts over the next 6 days:

@DFSgolfer23 I like Mitchell. I was just talking about your top 4 that you mentioned. Obviously studs but they're playing 3 or less events in the 2nd round likely. Could certainly pose some problems.

@chewhill22 Over emphasis on golfers expected to play a lot- that aren’t THAT much better than Keith M, IMO.
