A month ago I posted about Canada's compute gap. $2B committed to sovereign AI. Zero current GPUs available to rent. This week I rented 2 H200s from @TELUS in Quebec. Today @TELUS announced 3 new AI data centres in BC. 60,000 Nvidia GPUs by 2032. $9B in economic activity. 98% hydropower. The compute gap is closing. Canada is finally building.
