.@solana cannot rewind time. They chose to entertain casino games, make broccoli streamers their brand and create an entire community of brainrot degenerates. Solana is now DESPERATELY trying to larp on @base because they are seeing their competitor gaining mindshare and volume. The quality of protocols like @AskVenice, @nockchain, @openservai, @reppo and @tigfoundation cannot be found on Solana. These protocols launched on @base for very specific reasons. The founders chose @base because all of them have much better foresight than the average CT-account. Even when Solana had crazy traction throughout 2024-2025 these teams still chose to launch on @base. Now, in hindsight, all of them were right in making that decision. There are much bigger and smarter wallets on @base due to the strong cross-correlation with .eth-heads. These wallets have patience - a trait that cannot be bought nor artificially manufactured. They also have a history years before the $SOL ICO. Meanwhile the average Solana trader has the attention span and memory of a fruit fly. I am all for memes and they can gladly stay on Solana but the average Solana trader cannot comprehend the value of a protocol as the average Base trader can and that in itself is the crucial differentiator. It’s a cultural thing. It’s also a lot of cope from those that only follow Solana-accounts on their TL. The algorithm just feeds you slop and PnD’s by design. Serious investors won’t dip their feet in toxic waters. They prefer to be in places where the institutional money is. TradFi whales and upper-tier politicians know about @coinbase. Many of them have met Brian Armstrong but not many of them are aware about that @coinbase incubated/launched their own L2 (@base). They will find out. When that happens there will be a lot of coping from Toly, Mert and those that intentionally designed their L1 to be a casino house for addicts. Just look at what Nikita Bier built. He made two short-term addictive apps and somehow sold them to Discord and Meta. Both apps got shut down shortly after. Now he is a @solana advisor. Nikita actively promoted Believeapp, Moonshot and Pumpfun in front of audience in New York in 2025. You can find that video on Youtube. Even recently a lot of Solana traders openly stated that $SOL would be at a much lower valuation if it wasn’t for memes. That should tell you everything you need to know about their community and their ethos. Shallow. Fake. An absolute joke. I truly believe now is the best time since 2018 to be accumulating large % ownership (mostly via public markets) of <$100m market cap tokens some of these will become 100x or 1000x liquid investments there are a few S tier teams building truly unique things and creating novel primitives that haven’t been seen before, all with no equity/token mismatch and trading below $100m market caps if you are truly high conviction in venture scale potential, this is the time to be looking for opportunities like this
