There are 12.5 million pensioners in the UK. 40,000 people pay inheritance tax a year. Sunak wants to deny an inflation matching pension increase to the 12.5 million so the children of 40,000 people can benefit from a tax cut. If you can work out the justice in that, I can’t.

It’s been 9 months since Pret opened in SN High St. Not everyone was happy about it, even though chains have been part of the High St for many decades alongside small, independent shops. It’s fairly busy as far I can tell and has diverse clientele. How do you feel about it now?
