@chirembaPT The efficiency you’re enjoying isn't a miracle of 'better culture'; it’s the compound interest of colonial looting and slavery. While they were building road networks and social safety nets with our gold, tea, and human capital, they were deconstructing our institutions.

1. There’s no power cut whatsoever! Public transport is so reliable and timed you can literally plan .
2. There’s absolutely no bank charges , not for tapping , not for transferring money , no monthly charges on an ordinary account even .
3. People actually see the road signs and follow them , people give each other way when driving.
4. If you dial 999 , the next minute you’re connected to whoever you want — Ambulance, fire or police. 24/7
5. People do give away stuff they no longer need for free sometimes.
6. There is a functional social service to support the vulnerable in communities.
The list is long but this stood out for me ..

Honestly, I think these are just money-making schemes. No one is still paying attention to this drama anymore. Zimbabweans are more focused on making money and taking care of their families. No one is going to rise up, because people are content with their lives and with the current leadership.

Ethanol is not a product of Crude Oil. It doesn't pass through the Strait of Hormuz.Rather it's a Waste Product of Sugar production at Chiredzi. Somebody explain why it should cost us $1.10 per litre & why it has to be forced on us?

@Tau_Moyo @nickmangwana Do you still hold the same thoughts today?
English

@nickmangwana Its long overdue... Hopefully this is not going to be like the Chombo case Mzembi case Hlongwane Case we want people to be treated fairly if they are innocent stop wasting resources if they are guilty treat them as human beings who had a moment of weakness and rehabilitate them.

In Europe or in America they have fuel reserves which they release when life is hard times like these,so that prices they don’t quickly skyrocket!
In Zim we have the same strategic Reserve levy, however, on the first instance we have as a country prices have surged in an unprecedented way!
Why is the government now collecting more taxes now in hard times than it was doing a year ago?Why does the government increase taxes when its citizens are at their lowest!
@nickmangwana is the government not suppose to be helping its people ?

@DirectorTindo @edmnangagwa Ease of doing business is not one factor only!! As you might have seen, tourism business has been made dearer by the absence of good access roads, which are financed through Govt revenue!!!!!!

When your country is being run by thieves and crooks, any opportunity to steal from the public is exploited. The war in the Gulf has become the latest excuse to steal from the public through a 39% fuel price increase, the highest in the SADC region.
Zambia, which takes most of it's fuel from, and through Zimbabwe, has increased fuel price by 6%, from $1.51 to $1.60, while Botswana hasn't increased at all.
Petrol in Zimbabwe was US$1.56 before the war. Today, it's selling for US$2.17, an extortionate & criminal increase of 39%.
@edmnangagwa and his government are criminals who should be removed from levers of state power. Our country cannot afford such an inconsiderate and extractive regime any day longer!

How is any term period that is outline expressly (five years or two terms), not limited to what is outlined by the constitution?
The constitution is specific that a President’s term is deemed as complete once he serves three years or he served the full five years. That is an express limit.
The same constitution further says that any extension of a term in office requires referendum. How can you move the term from five years to seven without extending the stipulated limit of five years?
Why are you even trying to extend the term to seven years, if it wasn’t limited to five years?

@PoliceZimbabwe What about local Zimbabwean tourists travelling with roof racks? I have had issues with your officers concerning roof racks!
English

The ZRP has noted with concern false information circulating on social media on tourists’ vehicles movement and the use of roof top tents or roof racks. The ZRP makes it categorically clear that no tourists’ vehicles are being impounded in Zimbabwe for using rooftop tents or roof racks. The false information is dismissed with contempt it deserves. For the record, any tourist who need clarity should feel free to contact any nearest Police Station or National Complaints Desk on (0242) 703631 or WhatsApp on 0712 800197. The ZRP has also engaged Zimbabwe Tourism Authority over these false messages.
