2) Basically, the famous “Fed Model” for stock market valuation broke down completely post 2002 after working reasonably well from 1987-2000. Said another way, the equity market never really capitalized lower rates. Why? Obviously not QE (so many QE/QT reductionists).

1) During the 90s, SPX valuation measured by (earnings yield - the 10 year) ranged from parity to -400 bps. Over the last 20 years, this changed significantly. The SPX earnings yield has constantly been 600 to 100 bps *higher* than the 10 year yield - i.e. much cheaper.
