What do men really want? I made a post about my future husband providing for the family while I focus on being a good, submissive wife taking care of the home, cooking, and doing chores. But some men didn’t like it at all… they started dragging me. Some are upset because I said I don’t want to contribute financially. And yes, I won’t except when necessary, and even then, it’s something I expect to be acknowledged. If you don’t want to provide for your family as the man, that’s your choice and the kind of wife you attract will align with that. If you prefer a 50:50 arrangement with your wife and she’s okay with it, that’s fine too. But as for me, I’m not doing 50:50. I believe a man should take responsibility for providing for the home. And if you choose to move in with your wife after marriage, that’s your decision. To each their own.

@tutorE_LN @gamerwalt I do agree because everyone needs to learn how to cook and take care of their family. But to be dating and asking “do you know how to cook” lol - blocked

@gamerwalt I think the problem is her unwillingness to cook for her family, thinking it's old fashioned. If she can't cook but willing to learn then✅ If she can't cook and not ready to learn then ❌ If they are both career oriented, they can employ a cook .

The absolute truth. Young men... irrespective of of you know how to cook or not, marry a woman who knows how to cook and takes pride in caring for a home. Let's forget about all this woke culture nonsense for a minute and look at reality. If a man is out there breaking his back to provide the resources, the lady needs to know how to manage that home. It is a practical partnership, and these are fundamental survival skills, not oppression. Most times, the woman is the anchor of the household. If she cannot cook or refuses to maintain a decent living space, the entire family structure suffers. You end up bleeding hard-earned money on takeout, your health declines from eating processed garbage, and you come back to a chaotic house instead of a peaceful refuge. A woman who knows her way around a kitchen and values home care transforms a basic building into an actual sanctuary. It shows genuine respect for the family and ensures children are raised in a stable, healthy environment. Don't let modern internet debates fool you... marrying a woman with these essential domestic skills is the bedrock of a lasting, functional marriage.

@Taiwo_junzi In Nigeria where the average income is less than what?? 300k monthly. These men have no skills to offer and barely any money. The pastor focused on telling men to not marry a woman who can cook. Nigeria will never be a developed country.

@Taiwo_junzi Also so many men are poor. Dirt poor. Have nothing to offer. Yet they want a woman who is skilled like a professional. Isn’t that funny… She has to clean like a professional Cook like a chef Have kids and have no health issues. No CS no medication if possible Beauty queen

I don’t care if a woman can cook or not. I care more if she’s willing to cook for me than if she can actually cook. Many men are married to women who can cook yet they get cooked for because it’s not something their wives really want to do for them. It’s the same way I care more about a woman earning 5 naira and seeing it as family income than I care about a woman earning 5 billion but telling me I should not care about her bank account. I’ll always encourage to go after a person’s values not their skills/results.

Bro, I’ll be having two kids….whether they’re the same gender or not, I’m good. After that, I’ll go for a vasectomy. But before that, I’ll make sure I run DNA tests on the kids 😅 I honestly don’t have the energy to raise three or four kids. I want my wife and I to actually live, enjoy life, and not just be overwhelmed with responsibilities.

@dreal_prosper @JEdejewhro @Dir_Martinsz Yeah I know you have your own explanation already. I have mine and I totally think it’s very misogynistic to the point that I didn’t marry an Igbo man because most have that mindset and I no wan suffer

@chitown2710 @JEdejewhro @Dir_Martinsz It’s not really about misogyny imo It’s more like a reality, we see how women change surnames after getting married, they become visitors in their fatherland Igbo culture respects women too… aside the women that be wanting things meant for men..

I don't care how you people see this but just so you know, My wife cannot on her own decide to deliver by Caesarean section. I have heard that some women no longer want to deliver vaginally and are opting for CS even when a vaginal birth is perfectly safe. That is unacceptable to me. Unless the doctor advises or recommends a CS due to medical reasons, she must deliver vaginally the way a woman should. Fear of pushing is not an excuse. I will not allow any woman to carry my child and then choose CS simply because she is afraid of labour pain. Fear of pushing is not a medical condition. Above all, love God.
