@skittybitty_yt This happened to me with a couple S1 joycons but only after 2-3 yrs of everyday use. When I got my S2 & felt the sticks I knew they weren’t long for this world, so I got the Savage Raven covers right out the gate. Highly recommend. Subtle design, very comfy, & perfect color match

i keep my nails short and my hands clean and my right joycon stick is in good shape so i’m not sure what’s going on here, especially since my other controllers (pro controller, dualshock, xbox) are all totally fine. i guess i’ll invest in some thumbstick covers 🤷

I unfortunately noticed a huge visual issue with the new Metal Gear Solid 4 port: Bloom has been significantly toned down resulting is less colour, diminished highlights and lower brightness This is usually an issue caused by increased resolution while not scaling post-effects

Trump wants to seize control of the upcoming elections because he knows Americans are against him. The problem with autocracies is that you can vote yourself into them but it’s trickier to vote yourself out of them. That’s what we’re dealing with now. Conservatives are just going to keep playing dumb, insist everyone else play the part of the frog slowly boiling to death in water, until, if Trump feels bold enough to do it, they will defend it and say, “Actually you don’t get to have a democratic process anymore and that’s based!”

As for Sandfall, being a new company, they most likely didn’t have access to Switch 2 devkits until months after E33 came out, so it’ll take a while to port but it’s coming for sure

Nintendo announced a substantial update for Splatoon 3 releasing on January 29th: - Flow Aura ~ New mechanic that activates when defeating multiple opponents in a row. @Stealth40k To everyone asking me why. Leaks, accurate or not, suck. If they're accurate, it takes away from the excitement of the actual announcement. If it's not accurate, it just leads to disappointment because it ended up not being true. Also, leaks won't make things come out faster.

You still have to install the whole thing to your SSD, it’s just split into 2 discs and doesn’t require an internet connection, as long as you don’t mind playing without the performance patches

A little inside baseball. Nintendo has a policy where once you hit 65, you have to retire or are moved into a smaller role that isn't really about making games (Miyamoto was the exception, as there is always an exception). As he notes, there are other legends that have already hit this point but technically still work at Nintendo, so we haven't heard about them yet. End of an era happening this entire gen. This does mean the next big 3D new Zelda game... will be Aonuma's last. Enjoy it.
