@montycat16 Ops, don't look good to me. Cannot imagine the shock and the pain ๐ฅด
Not sure how you manage the pain.. just hope you can cope better now.
English

@chocom0chi Thatโs the same with me, I was watching that my husband was alright and not really thinking what I was doing with the dog lead, easy done though.
Itโs all my bones Iโm afraid, as an example my knee is at the side of my legs and the ankles at the front
English

I also blamed myself that I didn't manage to avoid the crash.. normally we always try to move or avoid.. but that time I was talking to another pawparent friend so didn't manage to move quickly.
Have you tried to look some natural remedy or exercises?
Not sure if you have seen this video.. well, maybe it helps or maybe not, you only can try..

@chocom0chi @RareImagery No, wasnโt Busterโs fault at all, just me not thinking.
No, I couldnโt go because of leaving my husband.
I have got quite odd fingers anyway because of bone problems so they always hurt
English

@montycat16 @RareImagery Your situation wasn't even better either.. but to be honest, hard to blame our furbabies.
Did you go to hospital at all?
How are your fingers now? Hope they stop hurting.
English

@chocom0chi @RareImagery in I looked and the fingers were at a very odd angle, couldnโt go anywhere as my husband needed 24/7 care. When my son got home I got him to splint each finger, boy did it hurt, had to have it redressed every day. It seemed to take forever to stop hurting

My dear friends, could you send up some prayers for my 21 year old grandson? He was at work this morning and started having severe head pain and then had a seizure. Ambulance took him to the hospital and he's been there all day. Just found out the head pain and seizures were due to 5 guys jumping him when he was walking to meet friends here in town back in the fall.
They beat him up pretty bad and bashed his head into the concrete and he went to the hospital and they managed to staple his head back together. He's a Dad and takes that very serious so he doesn't drink or do drugs. He's lives for his son.
Anyway, it looks now like this will be the beginning of severe head pain and seizures for a long time. The doctor said he is not to drive or work for 6 months. He's devastated!
He has worked 12 hour days and odd jobs on the weekends to make his truck payment and pay his bills. He has done everything for himself, no help from anyone and that's how he wanted it. I've prayed Angels around him and I believe God will take care of him.
What I am asking for is your prayers. Thank you so very much for your compassion and concern.๐๐ปโค๏ธ๐๐ป

๐จ SAVE LUCY: A Soldier Saved Her in War. Now She Faces Death Over a MINOR Complaint at Home
Lucy is an 11-year-old dog who survived the Middle East and was brought home by U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones after they bonded during deployment.
She has been with his family for 10 years and has never spent a day away from themโฆ until now.
Lucy is currently sitting in the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter in Edinburg, Virginia, facing possible e*thanasia.
She is sitting there confused and alone after a lifetime with the family who loves her.
A year ago, Lucy had a single incident while recovering from surgery, medicated, and wearing a cone. A joggerโs arm reached inside the cone, and she reacted with one defensive nip, then immediately let go. Even that person did not want to press charges.
After that, the county labeled Lucy a dangerous dog.
On April 17th in Strasburg, Lucy slipped out of her collar for a few seconds on her own property and barked at someone walking by. She did not attack anyone and never left the yard.
That was enough for her to be taken.
Now she is sitting in a cage after a lifetime with her family.
Lucy is not dangerous. She is a senior dog who deserves to spend her final years with the family who loves her.
๐ PLEASE TAKE ACTION - COURT DATE IS MAY 8
Takes 10 seconds. Please call:
Shenandoah County Commonwealthโs Attorneyโs Office
(540) 459 6129
Say: โHi, Iโm calling about the dangerous dog case involving Lucy, owned by U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones in Shenandoah County.
Iโm asking that Lucy be returned to her owner immediately.โ

Your life will not be the same anymore..
Your heart is broken badly..
Crying on your bed every morning and before falling asleep
Walking to the front door after work is much harder as you cannot see that happy face greeting you anymore..
Staring at empty spots where he used to be become your daily routine..
Talking to 'him' as he was there become a habit..
These things happen when you lose a piece of your heart, your lovely companiom, your baby and your loyal friend..

@LanieASassyVet To every K9 warriors, huge respects from the bottom of my heart!!
If I had the chance to sit next to any dog, I won't give up my seat.
English

To the couple at Denver International who quietly asked to move instead of sitting near herโฆ
To the man at the gate who leaned over the counter and asked, โAre you sure that dog is safe?โ
Let me introduce you to someone who has earned her place more than most people ever will.
Her name is Staff Sergeant Nova Steele.
Yes, Staff Sergeant. That title wasnโt given lightly.
Nova is a 90-pound black-and-tan Rottweiler - strong frame, calm posture, eyes that donโt miss anything. Thereโs a faint scar along her back leg, the kind of mark that doesnโt need explaining but tells a story anyway.
She served with an infantry unit overseas as both a patrol and detection K-9. Long days, longer nights. The kind of work where silence matters, instincts matter more, and hesitation isnโt an option.
On one operation, in a dim, dust-filled building that had already been checked more than once, Nova alerted where no one else had. What they found there shouldnโt have been missed - but it was, until she stepped in.
Another night, things went wrong. Fast. Confusing. Loud.
The kind of moment that doesnโt give you time to thinkโฆ only to react.
Nova did what she was trained to do - and more than that, what she chose to do.
She took the hit that wasnโt meant for her.
Weeks later, she was in a military veterinary clinic in Europe. Quiet recovery. Slow steps. No complaints. Just patience.
She made it back.
Now she lives with her handler, Master Sergeant Elena Cruz, back home in the United States. She flies in the cabin, right by her side - not because itโs a privilege, but because itโs been earned, piece by piece, moment by moment.
The same dog people hesitate to sit next to once walked into rooms first so others wouldnโt have to.
She doesnโt need reassurance.
Sheโs already given more of that than most ever will.
To every K9 warrior and their handler - thank you.๐
