@nikkifrommia avoid most of these. Yardbird good, casa Tua good, Macchaliana amazing, Santorini, Mila, Prime 112, Stubborn Seed, Forti di Marmi, Jaya, Call me Gaby, Joe’s, Motek, Vecino’s, Mister 01. Havana 1957 is OK but not great. Cuban tough on beach. born and raised in Miami :)
English

@RAnSacks What?? Libertino, I think she is, the coffee, naughty coffee, imperial moto, panther, maman, crema, bistro, puroast, list goes on all open long before 9? Every Cuban bakery for Cuban coffee is open at 6. where are you in Miami?

if you’re coming to miami for the conference:
lincoln road is your easiest food/shopping area, basically one street over
for lunch nearby:
- Osteria da fortunata, Italian spot from Rome
- Orange Blossom, cute brunch/lunch garden vibe
- Yardbird, classic Southern/American
- Issabella’s, Mediterranean and easy for lunch
- Bella Cuba, Cuban food because that’s a must while you’re here
- Cvi.che 105, fire Peruvian
for dinner:
- Andres Carne de Res, newer Colombian steakhouse, fun vibe
- MILA, trendy dinner spot
- Casa Tua, upscale and intimate

@adamwasch @irentdumpsters Go to Babe’s in Palmetto Bay
English

@irentdumpsters I’m so far south in Palmetto Bay could be anywhere between here and Boca.
English

@hpierrejacques Usually minimum’s required. Won’t get anything really for a big event for less than 3-5k
English

@OhioDutchie2024 @MLFootball Leased for sure. 500/m. Some Kia’s cost more
English

@MLFootball This party was at a Maserati dealership, he bought his mom and sister one right after he got picked, 200k

🚨TRENDING: This video of #Chiefs first-round pick Peter Woods and his family after he was drafted has gone viral on social media.
Multiple family members were wearing wedding gowns and very expensive clothing.
Woods contract is worth over $17 million.

@yankeefina87656 @stockxsucks Can you link the real deal article?
English

@yankeefina87656 @stockxsucks Have you seen the waterfront tower Citadel is building? I think Citadel is far from a farce. It’s 2.5b, 62 floors.
English

@yankeefina87656 @stockxsucks They leased 3k of coworking space in Aventura. They are leasing like 25k of space in Brickell or Wynwood
English

@stockxsucks I read today Plantir is only looking for 3k sf of office. I thought they were moving to miami? They have 232k sf in Manhattan. Developers are buying this bs story of companies “moving” to miami.
English

@got_cake @Thomas3Glen You most certainly don’t have a better chance of losing your organs in Miami lmao. PR is third world
English

@Thomas3Glen Don't be a skunt. Organs arent viable for more than a few minutes post mortem. Not sure if you're stupid or trying to be funny but even if she wasnt already dead you have a greater chance of losing organs in Miami than in Puerto Rico.

🔺️A tourist identified as 40-year-old Tamirah Yasmeen Dix, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, died Saturday night after suffering an apparent incident while at a zipline in Orocovis, PR 🇵🇷
According to preliminary information, the woman allegedly received a heavy blow to the face as she was preparing to go down the zipline. Based on the account provided by her relatives to agents of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Vega Baja, Dix completed the course and later reunited with them.
Following the activity, the group went to have lunch, but the tourist stated she did not wanted to eat. Shortly after, she went to the bathroom, where she vomited. Given the deterioration of her health, her relatives chose to return to the hotel where they were staying in Dorado.
While traveling along Highway PR-693, the woman’s condition worsened, leading them to call the 9-1-1 Emergency System. An ambulance intercepted the vehicle and transported the tourist to the Orlando Health Doctor Center hospital in Dorado, where doctors attempted to resuscitate her. Nevertheless, she was pronounced dead at nightfall.
The body will be transported to the Institute of Forensic Sciences in Río Piedras, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
Rest in Power, beautiful.

@ShoutoutKG The location is actually ideal. What do you want ? Them in Sunrise or Kendall? Lmao
English

The worst location for a baseball stadium, the most inconvenient place to go watch sports in South Florida. Move them to Broward or West Palm Beach and it would be full most games.
Dan Clark@DanClarkSports
It's time to boot the Miami Marlins out of Major League Baseball. To pull just 10,160 fans to their second game of the season on Opening Weekend is an absolute disgrace!
English

@nicholasnlawton Miami all day. NYC second. I wouldn’t even consider the others on the list
English

@nonameunchained @rasmr_eth Who hurt u lmao. Miami is a tier 1 city including : coral gables, coconut grove, pinecrest, South Miami etc
English

If you spend more than 80% of your time in downtown, Brickell, or the beach, do not comment on how great Miami is because you do not know the real Miami.
Miami has no nature (beach doesn’t count because it gets old), no intellectual places like museums, no dependable transportation system, and the people are rude and inconsiderate and really just grown children.
English

@champtgram @rasmr_eth I love the gulf coast and will never move to Miami never
English

@CryptKeeper_06 @rasmr_eth talking out your ass huh 😂
English

@rasmr_eth It’s really shitty if you have a family good if you r young and want to party
English

@dneighbors @raechellambert Thank god you can stay in that liberal shithole 🙏🏼🙏🏼
English

@raechellambert Love SF and not a huge miami fan, but you are kidding yourself if you think that there arent grifters galore and founders never participating in community in SF. As to the fake women founders dolling up for an event, yeah that's not happening SF.
English

Husband and I tried Miami for 1 year after living in SF and NYC tech scenes.
Very top heavy - mostly successful founders and VCs who go to live in their nice houses and aren’t out there being part of the community
Tons of larping founders - I got invited to some “female founder dinners” and every single woman showed up dressed for a kardashian wedding and had obviously spent all their time in the salon, not building a startup
The grifting is real - we won Miami Hack Week in 2023. The $10k prize money did not exist and it took 6 months to even get a hold of the organizer. He never paid. When the next Miami hack week came around, I tried telling 3 people in the community. Organizer told them I was a liar and that I had been paid. This bullshit would never happen in SF or NYC.
Miami hack week seems to have a new organizer now so I’m hopeful it’s being better managed.

@_FlipMan Very common in Miami to have the house built around the tree. Especially in coconut grove and coral gables.
