Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared. I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.) It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a shit person.

The new administration is a big problem for them. For peace, and saving America, @POTUS is going to negotiate and historic trade and peace deal with Russia & China. A partner ship that EU did not see coming, and I will 100% support him.

On @ThisWeekABC, I reaffirmed what @POTUS has said -- the war in Ukraine is horrible, and he wants it to end. Right now, President Trump is the only person on Earth who has any chance whatsoever to bring about an enduring and lasting peace.

BREAKING: Donald Trump signed an Executive Order designating English as the official language of the United States. This goes against what our Founding Fathers desired. They purposely refrained from declaring English (or any language) official, trusting America’s pluralism and democratic values to naturally guide cultural and linguistic unity. America was already multilingual at its birth, with significant populations speaking English, German, French, Dutch, and various Indigenous languages.

English is officially our national language, as it should be. Now it’s time to make sure our kids are actually proficient in reading & writing it. Today 70% of U.S. 8th graders are NOT proficient in reading & that’s unacceptable. We’re going to right the ship, starting in Ohio.
