@FreightAlley @StephenRuhe You aren’t changing your leverage. You are changing your duration. You pay for that extra duration with a higher interest rate. A 6.25% 30 year would price at about 7.25-7.45% as a 50 year. It would also be an instrument that would have fewer sources of refinancing.

@StephenRuhe I think it’s a comfort with leverage thing. My wife is scared of any debt, I am the exact opposite. The more leverage, the better.

If you accept a 50 year mortgage, you are insane.

Whether it be produce or recyclable materials, far more of the steps are manual or low-res due to incompatible systems, bad data or on-Prem solutions

You can’t use AI to effectively reduce spoilage of perishable products if you don’t have clean digitization and inventory management for those product.

I predict one of the non-obvious byproducts of AI will be a push into much deeper investment into vertical SaaS - especially on industries with nuanced supply chains.

@Larryjamieson_ @buccocapital This is generally not true for any SaaS product or vertical e-commerce application that is sticky. It’s not even close.

@buccocapital Just at the unit level of a payment made, V and MA generally (although I have seen a few products where this is not the case) capture the lions share of the economics - that's what I am saying

Every time you think about investing in a SaaS product that makes it's money via a payment gateway spread - just buy $V/ $MA instead

Excited to come aboard as an advisor to @JasonVego and his team at Bevz as they build out their SaaS and e-commerce solution for convenience and liquor stores.

@bradracino @NYCannaInsider The NY marketing restrictions just give a massive advantage to NJ operators and unlicensed operators. It stops stores from actually differentiating and winning on selection, deals or comments any culture.

And the discounting in the value advertisers ascribe to the ROAS on Twitter ads doesn’t bode well for Twitters revenue.

So bottom line - most large marketing departments would pay a premium on ads to not work with an advertiser they dislike or perceive potential PR risk in associating with.

A small 🧵 : Most of the takes on Twitter seem to focus on change to technical org or him cutting fat. But #Twitter is overwhelmingly ad revenue based and there’s been little talk of how well (or likely poorly) Twitter is selling ads (and thus making revenue).
