After 5 years of heavy lifting as a natural. You have reaped about 95% of your gains. So lifting for 10-20 years, you’re just having fun at that point

@rg_brewski @BoredXanthippe Life isn’t a trad meme bud. Physician wives are infinitely better mothers than uneducated and low SES women who don’t even spend more time with kids compared to the drs in practice. A high level man wants a high level wife to talk to and raise his kids.

@chrisbu773 @BoredXanthippe High level pairings. My guy your insecurity is insane. And yes, women being in ultra busy careers where they can’t focus on their family, have huge egos, surrounded by huge egos, and are money focused - absolute net negative.

A self-made, successful 46yo man with >$5M net worth can get an attractive 38yo doctor/successful professional or he can get a hot 28yo model/actress/bartender who hasn’t been able to make real money and has no reasonable path to do so. However, he’s almost certainly not getting a hot 28yo doctor. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why is matchmaking expensive? To illustrate, here’s how I’ll lose money on a client’s $49,000 package. Client is 46, 6’2, exited tech founder. He’s looking for a woman 27-33, very specific criteria around match personality, appearance, and profession. Without diving into specifics, she: • Isn’t easily searchable online... • Isn’t likely to reply when we find her… • Isn’t likely to be single… • Often has a deal-breaker trait we can’t screen for without a phone call… • Isn’t necessarily interested in my client… I was expecting this to be a difficult search, so I quoted $49,000. I wasn’t expecting ~100 hours of labor to find each match, not including communication with the client! To date I’ve spent $45,000 on salaries for the women staffed on his search, plus $2,750 on styling and photos, and we still owe the client 2 matches... Before considering overhead (let alone opportunity cost) this will be a huge L financially. Things balance out though. Most engagements are profitable. Some engagements are quite profitable. For example, a new client in NYC paid $30,000 and paused after his first match, because he’s 99% sure we found his wife. That's still a new relationship, and engagements last 9 months (6 months of active matching + up to 3 months of pause), so we could be on the hook for more work in coming months. But you get the point 🙏

Didn’t want to post this, but here it goes. Think I’m going call it here. Taking a serious break from trading and social media… I love trading, and I have a passion for it. However, these past few months, trading has been less enjoyable and actually stressful. I’m a pretty chill guy, and I don’t get stressed, but am definitely stressed out from trading recently. It’s affecting me mentally and emotionally. It’s getting to the point where trading dictate my mood for the day, and my family sees it. They don’t deserve to see me in a crap mode, because I traded like crap. I’ve been trading options for 4-5 years, and futures for 1.5 years. For the first time in those five years, last year was profitable and I was so ecstatic about it. Imagine being unprofitable, and then turning profitable. Best feeling yet. But, I think it’s time for a break to do some damage control, and to reset myself. Never really took a break at all cause I was hungry all the time. But now I’m probably going take a few weeks, or even months, or hell maybe longer whenever I’m ready. My ultimate goal for trading was to financial provide for my family and actually spend more time with my family, but blowing accounts recently has not really done really financial good for me. I guess that’s the reality of trading in a drought right? Shit, I don’t want to even post this post to be honest. It’s embarrassing to say the least. But I’m being honest and vulnerable to ya’ll. It’s just the other side of trading reality that no one really talks about. Never proclaimed to be a trading guru, or anything like that. Just simply a random guy, trying bring some extra bread on the side. Anyways… Writing this made me tear up a little bit, cause I know I have it in me, but it’s not clicking. So therefore, I will take a much needed break. Going just grind it out with nursing, and pay off some of these expenses I’ve occurred. I guess the good thing about taking a break is less time I’m on my phone watching charts. And more time spending with my toddler and newborn. Sorry for the vent, but maybe I’ll look back at this post in a year or maybe years and see how far I’ve come. Anyways, love yall, and hope you guys kills it. This is not forever, just temporary. Peace out.

Everyone’s taking zinc for testosterone. nobody realizes zinc is a COFACTOR FOR 5α-REDUCTASE. You’re accidentally optimizing DHT conversion and wondering why you suddenly feel aggressive and can’t stop staring at women. Congrats you played yourself.

@MattWalshBlog I think the left’s alignment with you on this issue should be a wake up call for you. You disparaging AI is akin to leftists disparaging the concept of IQ - it’s a rejection of reality and the embrace of the comfortable

A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of AI, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It’s pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about AI (especially AI in creative fields) is that it isn’t human, it doesn’t have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It’s very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it.

@MattSpoke Unfortunately raw construction costs (not including development charges and profit) are still unaffordable for most Canadians. We have a productivity issue (across all sectors) that was masked by cheap debt. We must allow the population to naturally decline

My views on immigration are not perfectly reflected by any political party. 1. Most of our problems in Canada are supply side problems. We can build more housing, hospitals, schools, infrastructure if we choose to. Let's not blame immigrants for the fact that we don't. 2. We need immigrants. Lots of them. But we should be much stricter in our entrance criteria - both in terms of economic criteria and "cultural fit". 3. We should be fast and unapologetic about removing people who come to Canada and cause "chaos" (crime, social disorder, etc.) while on temporary visas. 4. Canada suffers if we stay "small". 5. We need Canadian pride (in our history, culture, institutions) to be highly prioritized. 6. We need to talk very seriously about fertility, and we should be open to almost any solution that attempts to solve the problem.

Frankly, moving OSAP to debt more than grants is just another rug-pull on Ontario’s young people. Piling on more debt before young people can start their lives. The Milestone Recession in Ontario only looks to be getting worse under @fordnation’s inept government.

If you have to workout every day to maintain your "size" and your "gains" and you're under 6'1 You're just overcompensating for your weak genetics When you have warrior genetics you don't need to train every day, can party, and still be better than 99% of people
