🚨 BREAKING: Luxembourg court rules government LIED about vaccine contracts. They claimed documents didn't exist, then hid behind "confidentiality." Democracy won today! #TransparencyMatters

@levelsio This is completely insane. They are regularly closing schools during heat waves. Also, higher temperatures correlate with lower exam scores. The anti A/C propaganda is literally making people stupid.

HOT TAKE: Luxembourg's pension system is basically a giant Ponzi scheme that will collapse before GenZ retires
Solution? We got receipts 🧾
- No cuts to current pensions (duh)
- Flex retirement (work how you want)
- New pensioner card for more 💰
- Robot tax (make Jeff Bezos pay)

@noah_eacc @SawyerMerritt That will not happen, Lufthansa has a contract with Viasat for onboard internet. Also it would cause a huge shitstorm because Germans really hate Elon.
English

@SawyerMerritt Really hoping Lufthansa will add Starlink to their fleet soon

NEWS: British Airways is in discussions with SpaceX to outfit its entire jet fleet with Starlink Wi-Fi service, the company said.

@RomainHedouin True 3 years is way too short, but in your specific case if you leave that 50k invested over 10 years insead of putting it into a depreciating asset and assuming a 7% annual return will return you 48k€ which means your next car is for free ^^
English

@chrivoge The outlined plan makes way more financial sense than going into debt every 3 years for a new car
At least I'm keeping my car for ~10 years with this system
English

My plan to buy my next Tesla in cash:
- Finish paying my car payments, while investing 100€/month into a low-cost index fund
- Once debt free, increase the amount being invested by the monthly payments amount (in my case, 100€+443€)
- When the investment reaches 40-50k, sell the position
- Congratulations, you can now buy your next car without any debt
After 1 year of starting this system, I have paid back ~5300€ and invested 1200€ which grew to 1357€
This is the best way I've found to force myself to wait before getting a new car 😂
Without this system, I would just get myself a new Tesla as soon as the current one is paid off 😆

@levelsio @GrandNagus_ Is that even legal in the EU, don't you need to create a business first, get tax id etc?
English

@GrandNagus_ Just start with making a website and add Stripe link
English

That's not minimal enough for me:
- 1 founder who's also developer, designer, marketing (use ChatGPT to help with those)
- 0 humans
- Stripe account for $$$
- Aim for 100% automation
- Worker robot scripts that use ChatGPT API to do stuff regularly that humans would do normally (think moderation, sales) schedule them hourly, daily, weekly, monthly (like cron jobs)
- Featurebase.app bug and feedback board
- Stripe Billing Portal for changing and canceling subcription
- Self-service customer dashboard (with self-refund)
- 99% profit margins
Tony Dinh@tdinh_me
A minimal startup: - 1 developer - 1 designer - 1 "CEO" - Stripe account for $$$ - Mailbox for customer support Formula: → Ship features → Get revenue → Gather customer feedback ↩ Repeat. Sustainable point: ~$3K MRR Does this sound doable?

@RomainHedouin @___rikh___ I always buy Alpro Not Milk, 1.99€ at Rewe
English

@___rikh___ 2.49€ was the price at Kaufland, but I'll check other stores & will definitely try oat milk, thanks!
English

@RomainHedouin Let's be honest, compared to the competition TACC and Autosteer are just subpar in the EU. Essentially it only works well on the highway. Country roads without lane markings? Forget it.
English

Always risky to do this
80% of people are too fragile to deal with this and will breakdown when you tell them to actually ship
Then they will tell you you're toxic
20% of people will actually ship the thing, add a Stripe payment to it and get rich

@SnazzyLabs I have the feeling most Germans do not care about how their food tastes. What counts is that it is cheap and the portions are big.
