🚨 SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IS HAPPENING
S&P 500 just hit a new all-time high of $7,000.
Right in the middle of the worst energy crisis in decades.
But almost nobody is talking about the real reason.
The market is pretending the crisis is over.
But the Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Oil is above $90.
While the real economy suffocates, the index is being pumped to create exit liquidity for smart money.
The gap between the chart and reality is dangerous.
I've seen this movie before:
When the index flies during an energy shock, the drop will be vertical.
Remember, I've called every major turn for the last 10 years, including the exact $16K bottom three years ago and the $111K top in October.
Turn on notifications. When the real bottom forms, I'll call it here publicly, like I always do.

Some rivals become part of your journey forever. Carolina was one of them.
We first played each other when we were 15 or 16 year old girls in the Maldives, and from then on we went on to share so many battles.
To be honest, you were also a complete pain on court. The constant shouting, the intensity, the little tricks, they would get to anyone. But your skill, speed and fighting spirit were second to none.
People remember the big matches and even the ugly spat we had in that third set over picking the shuttle. I’ll admit I was completely infuriated that day.
But a few months later we sat across from each other over coffee in Madrid, talking and laughing, and in that moment there was nothing but respect.
That’s the Carolina I’ll always remember.
I’ll also always be grateful for the incredible camaraderie our generation built. Our batch of girls made women’s singles such a special place to compete in, and I honestly don’t know if badminton has seen something like it before or will again.
Thank you for every battle, every lesson and most of all the friendship.
I wish you the happiest retirement, Carolina 🤗
Badminton will miss you.
And so will I ❤️

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

this was the most important Oscar speech of the night tbh
"Mr. Nobody Against Putin is about how you lose your country. What we saw when working with this footage is that you lose it through countless small, little acts of complicity: when we act complicit when a government murders people on the streets of our major cities, when we don't say anything when oligarchs take over the media and control how we can produce it and consume it, we all face a moral choice. But luckily even a nobody is more powerful than you think."

wow Anthropic just published a crazy report on AI replacing your job and er... you might want to look at this:
- #1 most at-risk jobs are computer programmers, financial analysts (rip excel bros) and customer service
- most at-risk workers are female, white, older and higher paid.
- BUT high-risk jobs *aren't* firing employees... they've STOPPED HIRING. biggest victims: college graduates (4X more likely to be fucked)
- entry-level hiring has dropped 14% since chatgpt launched (for highest risk jobs)
- SAFEST jobs are... bartenders, dishwashers and lifeguards - any manual labour that AI can't automate (yet) this accounts for 30% of the job market.
- this was the scariest part: AI models are capable of automating most work TODAY but are prevented because of law and slow company adoption. so its not even a fucking skill issue its an ADOPTION issue.
- now its important to understand that the study is based on real world data but also 'theoretical' intelligence. so take it with a pinch of salt. some jobs (manual labor) didn't even meet min. data reqs
i applaud anthropic on being so damn transparent - they're literally the company behind claude who will be responsible for these impacts
studies like this will help us figure it the hell out. LOT of change coming this year.

Scientists just copied a Fruit Fly's biological brain and trapped it inside of a computer.
Not an AI model trained to act like a fly... A total digital copy of a fly !! This is some sick sci-fi stuff:
- They scanned and copied the brain, neuron by neuron, synapse by synapse, from electron microscopy data.
- Then dropped that brain into a simulated body in a video game like environment.
The fly walked. It groomed. It fed. Nobody taught it anything. The behavior was already in the wiring.
The entire premise of modern AI is that intelligence is something you train into a system. This is proof it's something you can transfer out of one. Wild times
