I was Assistant Team Physician of the Yankees for three weeks. Then I got called into Brian Cashmans office. He told me he was promoting me to Head Team Physician. He looked me me in the eyes and asked “Are you ready❓”. I said, “I’m ready‼️” Then he hit me with this truth, he said to me: “The higher a monkey climbs, the more you see his ass.” 🐒 🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒 Wise words. One of the biggest risks of leadership isn’t just making the tough calls—it’s losing self-awareness. The higher you go, the fewer people are willing to challenge you, to tell you when you’re off track. It’s easy to think you have all the answers, but real leadership requires staying grounded, surrounding yourself with those who will push you, and never losing sight of growth 📈 The higher you climb, the more you’re exposed… Leadership doesn’t just elevate you—it exposes you. The question is, are you prepared for that level of scrutiny❓Are you self-aware enough to handle it❓ Watch Full Presentation 🎥… Keynote: Sharpening S3P 2024 - Dr. Ahmad w/ Intro & Q&A: youtu.be/XzYuwmETt48 ✅ #Leadership #SelfAwareness #StayGrounded #Growth #mastery #performance 🥇

Shoulder surgeon colleagues...please please stop prescribing wall walks, spider walks, etc in acute cuff repairs. Several EMG studies show activity of cuff too high. Forward bow, Levy exercises, and table slides wayyy better choices. 3 diff protocols in 2 days w/ it! Thanks, Dan
