Hating Muslims and Islam in the West has become social, and some normalised political habit. When will the Government address the growing concern of far-right, anti-Islam radicalisation. Many who have condemned the vile killings of Muslims in San Diego today, have also been the very same people who have played a hand in cultivating this racist and Islamophobic culture. Three people were murdered today at the Islamic Center of San Diego. A security guard gave his life to protect others. A hate crime at a house of worship is beyond heinous. The Muslim community must be protected; religious sanctuaries must be respected. When hateful bigots target sacred spaces -- people of all faiths must condemn that violence with one voice.
