Bill Clinton: “Palestinians were offered a state on the entire West Bank and east Jerusalem as its capital. Israel accepted, but Palestinians refused. They did not care about a homeland for the Palestinians. All they wanted was to kill Israelis" This must be shared every day.

@peterdaou No. Because they are not the same. How many Hizbollah died? This nonsense of citing unverified numbers without a breakdown is very annoying and an insult to intelligent analytical people.

So will April 8 receive as much non-stop global outcry as October 7? Will it become a litmus test on every mainstream network, where guests are asked, "do you condemn the April 8 massacre?" Will US politicians hold up pictures of dead Lebanese babies and scream for revenge?

If you’re wondering how intense the bombing in Beirut was yesterday, then you need to watch this video. It documents the bombardment around the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, near my family’s home in Nov 2023. This is what we call a “fire belt,” in Arabic, meaning relentless, consecutive strikes that feel like hell itself. I lived through this many times in Gaza before we left for Egypt. It feels like the end of the world, as if you’re standing in flames from every direction, with no escape and no way out. Don’t look away from this video. #Gaza #Lebanon #Beirut #Israël #Israel

@frank_kabw48955 @PhumlaniMMajozi It’s their ancestral home. Nate for me a single ancestor of the Palestinians from 2000 years? Even Sierra Leon and Liberia were firmed in a similar manner. The people were returned to their roots. What is hard for Jews? A tiny part, and you have the rest of the Middle East.

Get rid of the Iranian regime, long-term peace is achieved in the Middle East. A huge plus for the global economy. The American and Israeli leaders, along with their Arab partners, should always remember this. The world needs a peaceful, thriving Middle East. #economy #politics #iranwar #geopolitics

"Greetings from Dubai. I wanted to take a brief moment to connect and share a clear and accurate update on the evolving circumstances here. There's been a lot of global media coverage about Dubai and the wider region, and while news cycles can sometimes amplify scenarios and uncertainty, we felt it was important to share the reality of the situation directly from us on the ground. Here in our city, the safety of all residents and visitors is and always will be our top priority. Federal and local authorities are taking extensive measures to keep our population safe and informed. Our city has strong, well-established systems for managing global disruption and close coordination between government and industry partners to ensure residents and visitors are supported. Dubai is safe and stable. Daily life continues with public services, infrastructure, and tourism facilities fully operational. Hotels, restaurants, retail, and transportation actors are open. While there have been some flight disruptions, operations have been scaling back up, spearheaded by Emirates and Flydubai. We are confident in a sound and full recovery. Dubai is home to close to 200 nationalities living, working, and coming together as a community, even more so during this period. Our historic model of openness has shaped our resilience and will continue to attract first-time and repeat visitors from around the world, families looking to relocate here, and businesses seeking to set up shop in the city. We thank everyone who has expressed support for Dubai, and we encourage you to follow only trusted official media as well as the federal and local authorities. We do this to avoid the spread of disinformation and subsequent panic movements that can create undue risk for all. To our residents and partners, thank you. To our future visitors, we look forward to welcoming you very soon."

@ori0n7 You are wrong. We talk about it and we are not happy. Islamic/Arab slavery was an extermination story. But we will not praise the western slavery either. Both were evil.

Why do black people never complain about Islamic slavery? Not only did they take African slaves, but they still practice it today. Black people are slaves TODAY in Islamic countries. And yet they don’t say a word. In fact, they support them wholeheartedly. So weird.

@MaryMacElveen @RealScottRitter @AnsariFaisee76 Very weak reasoning. The Lebanese are a human shield for Hizbollah who are the proxies of Iran. The send death and destruction into Israel, and Israel can’t always be expected to be nice to these people. They should have disarmed Hizbollah in 2006, by UN brokered resolutions, but

From a friend in Beirut: “They bombed highly populated and non-evacuated areas. Last I heard there were 254 dead and 1169 injured. The day before, at the time they bombed, (my husband) and I were passing in that area. The casualties will rise because there are still people under the rubble. This is higher than the Beirut port explosion. And they are threatening that they will continue their unannounced raids for 48 hours. So nobody knows where they are going to bomb today. We don’t know anymore where it’s safe. And the sad thing is that they are getting away with everything they do and no one is able to stop them.” All this because Benjamin Netanyahu understands that peace will mean the end of his tenure as Israel’s Prime Minister. The people of Lebanon suffer because of the ego of one man. A man who heads a nation of genocidal maniacs. Where is Europe? Where is Russia? Where is China? Don’t bother asking where America is. We lost our moral compass a long time ago. We stand with Israel. We stand with the murderers.

@RealScottRitter Just stop poking the bear. Simple. In this round, your country men Willy nilly started lobbing explosive things into Israel. If it was up to me, I would annex the whole area used by Hizbolla to terrorize the inhabitants of northern Israeli towns.

Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into the war, but Israel’s right to defend itself does not justify inflicting such massive destruction. Israeli strikes killed hundreds last night, making it hard to argue that such heavy-handed actions fall within self-defence. Israeli actions are putting the U.S.-Iran ceasefire under severe strain. The Iran truce should extend to Lebanon. Hezbollah must disarm. The EU supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah.

One of the darkest days in Lebanon’s recent history! 100 Israeli strikes in 10 minutes across different regions. More than 250 have been killed and 1,200 wounded, with the toll expected to rise as civilians remain trapped under the rubble. My heart is aching. I’m still in shock.
