No one gives Tails flack for not really having a character outside of Sonic, which is insane because I feel like we see Amy doing more for others who aren’t Sonic than Tails even does. But because she has a passionate interest in Sonic it’s a problem. People will overlook her

We do not talk enough about the comedic value and spunky attitude of the Water Guardian. Irma Lair had a tendency to balance the darker side of the story with her wit and humor.
Irma’s power and utilization of the water element was underrated. My girl was able to shoot blasts of water from her hands, form clouds to create rain, use water to slice through objects or create shapes. She didn’t need to pull from a source of water, all she needed was moisture. Irma use to eat tf down! 🌊

Taranee Cook’s development in the show was something I genuinely admired. Taranee was depicted more as a shy, timid and composed personality while also being the brains of the group.
With her being a Fire Guardian, she definitely came into herself and her powers, finding more confidence. Two small details I loved: how they had her breathing actual Fire akin to a dragon and when she got her secondary power, becoming the team’s telepath, which was indicated by flames reflected in her glasses. She’s definitely underrated as a black magic girl.
