Earthbound is often only credited for its cultural and stylistic impact but it was also ahead of its time in some other ways. Rolling HP, the fact that it's one giant, connected map with no "overworld", and this. It had this in 1994. It's not all just "quirk chungus RPG"

I’ve started watching the English dubbed version of *Nichijou*.
I’ve hardly ever watched English dubs of Japanese anime—the last time was ages ago when *Rurouni Kenshin: Futae no Kiwami* became a meme, and I was totally blown away by it—so I was honestly a bit nervous, but it turned out to be a needless worry.   Every character is incredibly expressive and the voice acting is top-notch. There are even some new twists—maybe adaptations not found in the Japanese version?—that make it really worth watching.   ・Yukko has become Yuuko!
