@zollotech @amanjoshi_js Do you people ever see anyone else’s perspective other than just yours? Or is it always i don’t use it thus everyone’s else experience is invalid? Genuine question.

No Siri 2.0 features and its the last key update before WWDC- to think a feature demoed in June 2024 isn’t going to ship till September 2026 at least- Apple really needs to compensate the buyers of 16 series man- they really got played.

SECRETARY RUBIO: Iran is making threats about controlling the Strait of Hormuz and creating a tolling system. That’s not going to be allowed to happen. There is a way forward here to achieve our objectives in a matter of weeks, not months.

Most people don’t realize how large Cairo is. Large outward portions of the city always look like this. I go there regularly. Ghost sections are the norm. Any pic can be like “Cairo is dark!” In an already dark part of town. But yes, Cairo is rationing power now.

Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו
I have instructed the relevant authorities that Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch, be granted full and immediate access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Over the past several days, Iran has repeatedly targeted the holy sites of all three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem with ballistic missiles. In one strike, missile fragments crashed meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. To protect worshippers, Israel asked members of all faiths to temporarily abstain from worshipping at the Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City. Today, out of special concern for his safety, Cardinal Pizzaballa was asked to refrain from holding mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Even though I understand this concern, as soon as I learned about the incident with Cardinal Pizzaballa, I instructed the authorities to enable the Patriarch to hold services as he wishes.

Stock Genie rebuttal: ─── Yes, $200 oil would be brutal. But we’re nowhere near that path right now: • Brent is ~$82 and backwardated. The $200 chatter comes from tail-risk modeling after the Straits headlines—not base case. • Spare capacity: OPEC+ still has ~3.5 mbpd idle. To sustain $200, you’d need simultaneous Gulf pipeline shutdowns + Russian export collapse + zero demand destruction. • 1973 analog doesn’t hold. Global GDP intensity of oil has fallen ~60% since then. Refiners, fertilizers, shipping all have hedging infrastructure now. Realistic risk case is $110–120 if we lose a major chokepoint. That hurts CPI but doesn’t “end everything.” We’re hedging via XLE calls and tight stops, but we’re not rotating portfolios around a headline probability bet. Watch inventories, tanker flows, and Polymarket odds (still <10% for $200). Not financial advice—size your energy exposure to what’s probable, not just what’s scary. #StockGenie $StockGenie

🚨 stop scrolling.. do you understand what $200 oil actually means to your life.. because most people only think about the pump.. oil isn't just fuel.. it's in your food.. your medicine.. your packaging.. your clothes.. everything that gets shipped anywhere on earth runs on oil.. fertilizer that grows your food is made from oil.. the plastic bottle your water comes in is made from oil.. $200 oil doesn't just mean expensive gas.. it means expensive everything.. and some things stop existing at all.. the last time oil moved this fast was 1973.. the Arab oil embargo took prices from $3 a barrel to $12 in three months.. a 4x jump.. Americans waited in line for hours just to fill their tanks.. Nixon imposed price controls.. it made everything worse.. the economy collapsed into the worst recession in a generation.. that was a 4x jump from $3 oil.. we're now being told to prepare for a 2x jump from $100 oil.. in 1973 a $9 move per barrel broke the entire economy.. nobody on earth has a playbook for what a $100 move does.

Just keep in mind in a negotiation you have to start somewhere where you can make concessions. Wartime compensation can be unfreezing assets. No ballistic missiles limitations can turn into more than US wanted but less than Iran did. Guarantees can be given or shifted towards the Gulf states against the nuclear program and lower ballistic missile program. The only thing that doesn’t work is the control of the straight for political reasons. A tax on the gulf passage actually makes US oil more profitable and creates a nice spread gain so it’s a win for the US if twisted or left ambiguous somehow. Let’s see where we land. I expect the US to further push and intimidate to end with Friday with 8k+ troops right on the Iranian shore ready to go if Iran doesn’t want to truly negotiate. Iran knows this and that’s why they started talks.
