@justVargas117 @tesla_na @elonmusk That’s for Autopilot only. FSD ignores this when in FSD mode. The ironic thing is you CAN set the max over speed for auto pilot still and the wheel allows on the fly adjustments. Give me that in FSD mode

Tesla Insurance update With the latest version of Safety Score (v3.0), every mile you drive with FSD Supervised enabled will receive a score of 100. This allows you to maintain a higher average safety score over time, resulting in lower monthly insurance premiums. Applies to new policies in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Virginia & Illinois

@levelsio It’s kinda refreshing to see stuff like this that I don’t have to “make a free account” to use

✨ Added more stuff to PieterOS at 💿os.pieter.com: - a 3d earth globe you can move around (would be cool to add zoom here too) - live stocks, news and a ticker - PieterGPT but it's shared with everyone else who's on - entire filesystem is also shared so you can access eachother's files and data and apps - a BBS with posts Program Generator 9000 is improving, the idea is you can prompt any program and it lives generate it on-the-fly and then runs it, it kinda works but often controls don't work yet, trying to fix this now Anymore ideas let me know, very fun :D
@levelsio@levelsio

Okay so this got way out of hand as per usual 😊 So I accidentally built an entire DOS text-based user interface (TUI) running on the web called PieterOS: 💾 os.pieter.com It has a collective file system so anyone that opens it can save and edit and the drive is constantly synced, it has Notepad, Paint, a DOS Terminal emulator, File Commander (ala Norton) And PieterGPT where you can talk to AI I also made Program Generator 9000, and the idea is you write a prompt and it on-the-fly generates a new program inside PieterOS, but it doesn't work well yet Oh and it has Hacker News, of course 😂 I always wanted to build a TUI like this but never could before AI, but now I can 😍 Please be kind and remember everyone can see each other's files!

@mistressdivy You’ve never experienced the nightmare of a 'CVF Corrupt' error message from DoubleSpace/DriveSpace. It is even worse than OneDrive. 🤓

@andrewhoyer Yes, been getting these all day on many different sites, but only once per user. The user agent for all of the requests contains "CVE-2026-1994-POC", so it's intentional I guess

Is anyone seeing password reset emails from WordPress sites that are not initiated by the user? I had someone receive a number of them, and I got one as well. Different sites, and different users.

@harishchouhan @dannyvankooten What was failing for you? I had super annoying issues with the Node/non-Cloudflare setup because of “gyp” problems from the better-sqlite3 dependency, but beyond that it’s been really smooth

@dannyvankooten I was trying to setup emdash. after 3 failed attempts, I gave up. Going to try it again later this weekend to replicate a small WP website and see the performance difference.

Playing with Astro to see what the fuss is about. What I like: - It's just JS. Very flexible. - Component-based. - Schema validation for front matter. - Can be a completely static site, can have dynamic content. What I dislike: - It's just JS 😅

@mikemcalister Makes sense to keep the UI familiar if they’re gonna try and get less technical people to move over from WP

Driving anything but a @Tesla is downright excruciating. I had to rent a Toyota Corolla today and it was a miserable experience. Anyone who drives a Tesla can't go back. It's that simple.

@willmcgugan Is it possible to do something like VS code where the split view turns into the unified view automatically when the window gets narrow enough?

Looks like there is a strong preference for split view diffs. But still a strong contingent of unified fans. So I implemented both!

if you ever go to someone's house and they own and are using an ice cream maker and you don't immediately fall on your knees and start crying, you're an idiot, because it's so fucking rare, it's like seeing a solar eclipse, like it's almost certain you're watching the first and last time that ice cream maker will ever be used in its life.

@amebagpt @andrew_n_carr Do you turn the temperature down when you use it for coding? I found it unusable until turning it down to like 0.1 (or lower) which feels better than any of the other models

@andrew_n_carr I am very confused why people are so in love with Gemini 2.5 pro, I keep trying it but I've never used anything it generated - it does way too much and is very flaky. Tried coding with it in Windsurf and same BS, just generates a lot of unusable code
