Kai Sorem, a 26 year old Trans woman, who was originally from Seattle, WA, was killed, along with 18 others by the Philippines military in Toboso, Negros Occcidental, the Philippines on Apr. 19/20th, 2026. Another LGBTQ+ victim killed in the massacre was 24 year old Lesbian Maureen Santuyo, who was from the Philippines. Rest in Peace, Kai, and Maureen, and the other 17 victims. It's honestly a massive market failure if a person producing their own food at home can achieve a lower marginal cost than a competative market of firms solely dedicated to producing hot meals. Can't understand why you would support free markets if they can't even deliver lunch.

Updates from The Sameer Project team in the last two weeks: - 13 year old relative of team member hung himself and died, may he rest in peace - The cousin of a team member was killed by a drone, may he rest in peace - One of our team members got injured yesterday with shrapnel in his arms and hit his head from a car bombing in Gaza City - One of our bus drivers got hit with a metal rod on his head today because there was no space in the free bus we provide When our team member went to the police station to report the bus incident, the station was full of boys from age 11 to 15 years old who were accused of stealing. Levels of desperation are high and the mental health of Palestinians in Gaza is extremely low from a genocide that surpassed the 2.5 years. On top of all this, mutual aid groups are closing or significantly decreasing their distributions. Nothing to say but Hasbi Allah wa Nema Alwakeel (Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs).

Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Velasquez, 18, live-streamed their attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego yesterday. New photos were obtained via the California Post. Additionally, a small clip of the livestream circulated which showed Cain Clark fatally shooting himself. (Which is from the 3rd screenshot) Both attackers shot and killed 3 people before killing themselves.
